I can see why people were moaning about it. Personally I think the mistake that was made was that they were all uploaded individually instead of as a single pack.

While we’re on the topic of deleted ensembles, would someone be so kind as to share a download for the now deleted Mwave 2 ensemble?

I might have it if you can tell me who the creator is. I have saved libraries sorted by creator name.

This is definitely one that I didn't pay attention to even though I've had it for a long time. I was happy when I did finally test it out.

Sadly, NI themselves also forgot how awesome it is. Permanently.

Right, and it was on the verge of yet another awesome transition. Instead of focusing on making it the best building product out there, setting up a market, and taking a cut from every excited dev wanting to release creations, they went with "front panel modular cabling" instead.

U/I updates went out of the window for "blocks." Which, for the most part, was just a standard for creating modules in a specific way.

Blocks still need all the UI updates etc, so it's not as if they are mutually exclusive.

If anything along with blocks the UI stuff also improved. Blocks UIs are generally way ahead of the earlier beige industrial look.

Personally I think Blocks, though a bit of a sideshow, was really helpful and made reaktor much more accessible for a number of people.

I think NI kinda failed a bit with the marketing of Reaktor. The library and user library are vast and very capable, but I think this aspect was always a bit underplayed, and reaktor was always seen as too complicated and only for making things from scratch.
