Hi,

I'm looking for books that cover "mixing". Also the book needs to cover "compression" and "limiting" during the mixing stage. Any other advice would be welcome too, regarding mixing and maybe, preparing for a master.

The reason I'd like a book or kindle, is to be fair to the author and actually purchase the book, rather than just get knowledge here.

Thanks ahead for your input,
Anthony

Some consider it dated, but I find most of the book to be evergreen material. Definitely worth the money to me, and the lack of used copies speaks volumes. Buy directly from Stavrou (cheaper too) and he claims he'll be your "mentor for life", but never taken advantage of it.

Is that the one with lots of 'balloon diagrams'?
If not, what's that one called, I forgot?

Guys.....I have seen and read alot on mixing but nothing is as grounded as the YEP thread. ' why do your recordings sound like ass'. It is now available somewhere on the net and as been condensed for better reading. No disrespect to any author but this was dialog between folk who wanted info and someone will experience and an elequent way of expressing them self.

Hmmmm come to think of it ....it deals more in tracking than mixing..
Still a great read.
