Apologies, I was just making a joke as I thought you'd started it

Were you asking a serious question? If you were I'll try and answer as best I can

Shitty has its use cases sometimes.

It's not a joke though. I highly recommend experimenting with combining reverbs, sending one into another. You can build some really interesting chains.

Yes, usually it's not recommended to put reverb plugins in series but sometimes it can work wonders! Especially if you combine reverbs with very different topology. For instance, I've had great success with running U-He Protoverb (using a quite short ambience/room type) into a different reverb that is really sparse and set to be almost "fluttering" settings (in my case it's usually Ariesverb as I have full control over how it's setup.. but you could use any other reverb that is kind of grainy.. or just a delay plugin with some control of diffusion).

So yeah, definitely do experiment with setting up reverbs in series. Heck the longest chains I've had are up to 4 different reverbs in series.

What?! I thought my comment was funny.

But in terms of stacking reverbs then I pretty much always (on vocals anyway) stack reverbs in parallel but never in series although I do have reverbs going into delays I do wonder about the early reflections though if you've got one reverb going into another but something I may experiment on in the future.

And although you can never have enough reverb plugins I pretty much always find myself coming back to Seventh Heaven and Cinematic Rooms (both pro) and I rarely find that they don't give me what I'm looking for if I search through enough presets and do enough tweaking.

for sure! i love the sound of a fuzzed out guitar, through a few reverbs, stacked in series, for a huge blooming wall of sound

can also be nice, reverb, fuzz, reverb, reverb... 8)

the more you break comvention, the more likely you will find "your sound" ;)

Stacking reverbs can give very interesting results, especially if they sound completely different.

+1 on stacking Reverbs.

i usually do it in parallel.
In serial is one usually a more creative or the "jammy" one and the other a quite subtle room ambience.
But then, i load my plugins in GP (GigPerformer/ non- trackbased Host) and NOT within any DAW.
That allows anyway for completly different workflows and tasks.
GP rulez ! ....in case you folks missed it. ;)

The best reverb is always the new one:

Hi KVR users. Have you tried our COMET Reverb? It's not new, but we often hear from users that they wish they had known about it earlier.

For such a price I expect more features like additional algorithms...

Love Comet- great weird sounds can be found via the preset Morph function, or through coupling it with Manipulator to make a sort of shimmer verb. My only complaint is the relatively high CPU usage. But that's why we render.
