Really? I've just watched the video and I couldn't see the point. If you're new to music production then it's complicated and doesn't really teach you how to dial in reverb. And if you've been around a while you're going to have all the tools and knowledge to do this anyway.

Maybe I'm just getting jaded but I really think reverbs are done now and I'm not expecting anything truly new or better than what's already available.

Ditto delays.

I feel +- same.

Maybe, exept that the remake of the Aries Verb is still missing.

this here is the end cutout of a longer creative Jam with the Aries-Verb. ( piano playing only.....and then the FX......= Ariesverb)
secret sauce,....check *this* out

I prefer if a a reverb doesn´t force me to render... I thought these times were over... :x 8)

Recently did a sound video on Borealis by Mantra instruments Reverb Plugin and I was quite impressed when I used it for live performances.

Forgot to mention that the other reverb I use apart from the liquidsonic stuff is PSP Springbox. I keep wanting to upgrade it to something better but every time I demo one of the new spring reverbs plugins that have cropped up in the past few years I end up deciding that they don't sound any better than the PSP.

Try Kentaro Particle Reverb if you are interested in creative granular reverbs, it will amaze you

Polyverse Music wrote: Wed Jul 31, 2024 6:53 pm Hi KVR users. Have you tried our COMET Reverb? It's not new, but we often hear from users that they wish they had known about it earlier.

You can get it here:

Love Comet- great weird sounds can be found via the preset Morph function, or through coupling it with Manipulator to make a sort of shimmer verb. My only complaint is the relatively high CPU usage.
Unfortunately, the usual shortcoming with the top notch stuff.

I love Comet. Yes, there's only one algorithm, but, that one works nicely. IMO, it has just the right feature set too. The only thing I miss a bit is the rate parameter for the detuning/modulation.

Luckily, I bought it cheap on sale (won't say for how much :D). 149 € definitely is a bit steep... 99 € would be the more sensible price.

I have SpringBox and I really like it. I have the same experience as you.

Have you tried Pulsar Primavera yet? That one may be promising.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

No, I don't think I did as I'd kind of given up demoing spring reverbs after Klanghelm Tens which was the 3rd or 4th I'd tried without really noticing any of them being better than the Springbox.

The best reverbs are the ones you love to hear and like to use.

It’s so subjective.

Another thread about reverbs, wow. Like an Oasis in a parched desert

I have only Raum, Little Plate from soundtoys (when it was free) and the one from izotope. But I really don't like the izotope one. Maybe I am using it wrong, but I don't like it.
Raum is way better for me personally. :ud:
