Yeah the looks could be better. I like the interface but there's a bit of a design clash and the wheels look really cheap and thin, much prefer the sequential back-lit wheels (which also feel great to touch).
Like some others here, I'm more than happy with my Trigon-6 which while having less options/voices etc, to me, will probably sound better than the Muse if Moog's past modern poly efforts (the ONE) are anything to go by. I definitely wouldn't give up my Trigon-6 for this, but it may be worth having a play when it's released.

Price seems about right for the feature set and competition, but I'm sorta feeling the same way. Doesn't appeal to me, but I'm sure it will be a big seller. On a more nitpicky note, I really hate those cheap skinny little pitch and mod wheels. It really cheapens the look of the Muse and makes it look like one of their budget synths. I prefer something beefier like the Sub37's wheels for both performance and aesthetics. Maybe it's just me, though.

Plenty innovation in Muse, I must say. Good job, Moog and Loopop too.
But have plenty headroom in REV2 still, so not into getting another synth. REV2 is actually my only synth currently, I sold 3 synths this summer. A piano and a Hammond too are kept.

Have to say I really would love to get a hands on with this. I have two classic polysynths that have large resell price tags and just aren't as reliable as modern synths. It would be nice to have something that I don't worry about or that takes ten minutes to warm up.

Also lack of patch space for a modern synth is criminal...
After checking out most the demos, despite different convertors used, and compression, you can hear a certain character.
It sounds a bit "diffuse" rather than solid, punchy and percussive. There is no density to the sound.
It could be due to the stereo nature of the synth

The thin plastic wheels do seem a bit out of place.
More than anything, I want to know if intonation is stable.
Moog One is just awful in that regard.
Would also like to know if cooling is active or passive.
Moog One can sound like a prop-plane.
Sounds a bit like a polyphonic Sub-37.
Don't think it sounds bad... but I'm not hearing anything overly exciting.
For $500 more, Polybrute 12 has a lot more to offer.

It's not 'just you'... they do indeed look "cheap", that is somewhat 'off', from a proportionality/scale perspective as well as being 'white', and in my experience, feel awkward. Though admittedly I prefer joysticks. Specifically the one on my old Korg Karma. I think a good bread and butter alternative will be the Behringer JT-16, but it's going to be a long wait, and it won't come with effects which isn't necessarily bad, but it will at least have presets.
