Really? Perhaps instead of whinging you might try asking me nicely to send you a link to download the drivers and control software. But hey, if you'd rather just piss and moan feel free.fullcirclephotos wrote: Wed Jul 10, 2024 12:41 pm not what i was hoping to see on such a recent post. i was hoping they had made it easy to download by now but google led me here. i bought the full size axe io used from guitar center and although some said it will work fine with no drivers or software i cant get tonex or amplitube to recognize it. i've been playing tag with their support for a couple of days and was hoping to just find it with google rather than chew through my return period waiting to be asked if i tried rebooting and to try other usb cables and ports.

NO. I do not hand out my private e-mail to strangers on the internet.
I can however send you a link via Private Message on this board.
Unfortunately, you cannot send or recieve PM's until you have reached
five posts. Once you have become an ACTIVE member, I can help you
out.

Hey everyone,
I can’t believe I’m posting here, but it looks like I have to. I didn’t realize this kind of thing happened with IK. I just picked up an Axe I/O One on Amazon secondhand, and the product card wasn’t in the box. It’s really shocking! They gave me a refund right away and told me to just keep it since it’s basically useless now. I hate wasting stuff and actually want to use it, so is there anyone who can hook me up with the control panel software for Mac for this model? I’d really appreciate it! Thanks a bunch!

I didn't say that they would absolutely be made available that way, I relayed the issue as I have before and I support them being available freely. If I had that kind of absolute power it would go to my head and I would be wielding it at my own company
But do carry on with the name-calling and shooting the messenger and all.

If you think it's bad here you should see what's being said on more private forums. But do carry on with the name-calling and shooting the messenger and all.
But, on a more serious note. I really don't understand IK's reluctance to make it's hardware drivers available to those people who have purchased your hardware used like all other companies do. More often than not, used hardware is not purchased directly from the original owners but rather from pawn shops, estate dealers, music stores and other secondary re-sellers on eBay, Reverb, Sweetwater used gear, etc. In this case there is absolutely no way to contact the original owners to initiate a license/registration transfer. This not only creates resentment but also makes it VERY unlikely that these unwitting victims would be likely to purchase your products in the future like say, Amplitube or Tonex. Fraknly, it makes no sense to me and seems to be something less than best business practice and good customer service. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Like I said, I have pushed for the same thing you're asking for. In the mean time, I haven't seen an instance where IK Support also being sympathetic and providing the drivers directly and if anybody reported a ticket to me where that happened I'd have it looked into.

Sorry Peter, but that is simply not true:I haven't seen an instance where IK Support also being sympathetic and providing the drivers directly and if anybody reported a ticket to me where that happened I'd have it looked into.
"I have a Stealth Pedal it's registered and appears in my User Area. BUT and the ONLY thing that shows up in my User Area are the ASIO drivers.....NO MIDI control app. After combing the net on my own I was able to find these:
StealthPedal MIDI Control 1.0.0.1
But I've seen some posts that mention: 1.1.1 StealthPedal_Midi_Control
Apparently, they were released years later than 1.0.0.1 version and
and add some desirable features. So I opened a ticket and actually got a
response from IK Support. Highly unusual! They basically told me to go piss
up a rope. Highly predictable.
"Thanks for your patience while we got back to you. 1.0.9 is the only version we have available for download."
So they HAVE version 1.1.1 they just won't let ME have it...or ANY version of the Stealth Pedal MIDI control app. Thankfully I was able find the early verision 1.0.0.1 ELSEWHERE on the net...no thanks to IK."
And then I made the mistake, of buying an AXE I/O. As I was not the original owner and had no way of contacting that person I was unable to register and, therefore unable to access the drivers and control panel in my User Area. I posted on the IK Forums and I DID open a support ticket......and got absolutely NO response. Again, I had to find the drivers and control panel elsewhere. And I am FAR from alone in this regard. I've owned Audio/MIDI interfaces from nearly every manufacturer but, (almost), no other company has been so unhelpful in getiing me up in running.
I was loyal IK customer for DECADES. But between lack of support for your own hardware, censoring comments on your forums and disdain for your customers this relationship has become intolerable. I truly hope that IK can come to this same realiziation and treat its customers with the respect they deserve.
Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Can anyone help me out with the Drivers and Control software?
