Hi all, ive just downloaded the Kjaerhus classic free plugs and just wondered is anyone using these?

What is the quality like? Are they heavy on the CPU?

Many thanks in advance.

They're great. They're some of these free plugins where "You get what you pay for" is wrong.

Best free plug-in series ever. And if not for the Gold Series, they would possibly be the best plug-in series ever regardless of price.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

I used to use some of the Blueline plugins a lot, up until about a year ago. Especially the multi-tap delay and the flanger. But these days, they've been surpassed by a lot of the new freeware contenders; they've not been updated in a long time. And personally I've now got payware stuff that completely blows them away.
So, to surmise, not bad for a couple of years ago, but these days though they dont really stand out that much.

ditto.

Blueline are useable as bread and butter standard FX, but not much point in buying them these days.

I'm liking the Master Limiter as an alternative to Waves C1 on my kit bus. Nice coloration for the particular song I'm mixing.

Don't recall being offended by the Reverb either.

I've got the others but haven't given them a proper airing out.

A fine value. If the man himself is lurking about I hope he'll accept my thanks for making those tools available at a price anyone can afford.

not too fond of the verb but i love all the others and the delay is one of my most used plugs :D

Legendary plug-ins. What more can be said? When people recommend freeware plug-ins, the first two off most people's lips are Kjaerhus Classics and Digital Fishphones.
