Wish Brainworx would include a preset manager.
Did you get presets? Mine came without any. You can usually access them through the dropdown menu in cubase, but nothing here for me
I have AU/VST presets in Live, but I prefer a proper integrated solution.

It's obviously not a reskin of bx_rooms. The controls and feature set are very different. Rooms claims to be realistic, Aura a "creative reverb." I would absolutely not call Aura "realistic." And they're asking twice as much for Rooms even though it's way less interesting.

can it also do subtle reverbs ?
Room ambiences ?

From the description:

Five reverbs types

Space. Expansive and ambient soundscapes.
Room. Natural and intimate room reflections.
Echoes. Rhythmic delay elements with a reverb tail.
Soft. Smooth and subtle reverb effects – great for pads.
Reverse. One-of-a-kind backward reverb effects.

It wouldn't be my first choice if I wanted a normal room ambience, but you can get it to be pretty subtle if you want. I think it's stronger at going heavy though.

Maybe some updated parts of it. It is quite grainy. And like bx_rooms it doesn't work for everything. It also has an upgrade path from bx_rooms.

I found bx rooms to be good for e.g. dirtying up drums or for noisy sounds. Never a smooth big space reverb.

Aura can do big spaces, but to me is grainy, though a light modern grainy.

⬆️ wtf is a light modern grainy???
I wonder what happens if I press this button...

A really good review:

He talks about 'grain' quite few times and explains how to smooth it out (Diffusion knob, if I remember correctly).

It's to do with the coarseness of the sounds from the delay lines in the reverb. Kinda like the early reflection sounds being delayed.

The Space algorithm has a light modern grainy sound. Lots of small higher frequency grains, akin to the sound of sand falling on a snare drum maybe?

Also picture that could be used for that Dada life endless smile type hyped sound.

You'd have to try it out of it doesn't make sense to you...

Similar Minimal Audios Swarm Reverb, which is nice for what it is but it’s not subtle or realistic.

nope - it's a reskinned bx_masterdeck...

Better wait for martiu to approve this new reverb. Just too many usual suspects here already. Very confusing to make a good decision now. :?
