So much fun.
One thing- I created an osc/env/eq chain, than a sample/eq chain. Trying to copy it to slot B, I realised I needed the sample chain linked to the first osc/env/eq chain to copy the entire patch- all good. But can't figure out how to then "unchain" the sample module and copy that alone over to another slot.
Also, I find the save preset functionality confusing. The way it's currently setup- it seems like you name the preset and then click NEW to save it- is unlike anything else I've ever used and I'm still not sure I'm getting it right. I think it's just so much easier to have a save as/save options.
But yeah, loving the modular set up. For psytrance kicks, this is so easy to dial in.

beautifully efficient plugin to dial in kick synthesis -- it's so inspiring when exploring a new idea since i often begin with drum design and programming
instantly bought after one try with the demo!
looking forward to playing with the beta features

Purchased! +1 to different colors for the layers since it's a bit chaotic to read what's going on right now, other than that is nearly perfect. If you add a saturation/clipping module that would be 100% perfect for me at least

The idea was, that it is one click less when you first enter the info for the preset and then save it, but I agree that people expect it differently. I think it is going to be like you describe in the new Preset Browser, that is coming.

If its not there already would it be possible to add a feature that automatically aligns the phase of the kick to an input signal?
Either favouring kick (leaving it alone) and adjusting the input or vice versa.
So basically "time stretching" and "quantizing" the phase to be a perfect match for however long the kick is playing

small update - saving presets in Renoise works fine with last beta.
Thank you

Currently you can set the zero crossing of a phase to a specific point in time on the grid - so people use an oscilloscope to match the bassline to the kick or wise versa, but you are thinking of some automatic function that does that for you?EfreetiSultan wrote: Thu Aug 01, 2024 6:22 pm If its not there already would it be possible to add a feature that automatically aligns the phase of the kick to an input signal?

Sweet update, tried the Beta for the first time. The envelope of the sample cannot be set independently from osc, is that true? It´s a bit of both always. Same for EQ... Do I miss something?

probably that you can nest devices into each other by dragging them onto each other. for example you can set a separate envelope just for the sample by adding an envelope device and then dragging it onto the sample device (into the orange box that appears while dragging), then the envelope is nested inside the sample device (indicated by the brackets) and applied only to the sampler.
