Thanks for posting that. I used the freeware long ago, deeply loved it, and had no idea they had paid products in the interim.
Yep, Dtblkfx is incredible and the only thing I really miss that no longer runs on my new machine. I keep hoping someone incredible will port it to run on Apple silicon one day!runagate wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2024 9:45 pm I have many, many, many spectral effects but nothing seems to exceed the power of this ancient VST made by a student at uni who I emailed and asked if we could share it with the world:

The Michael Norris stuff is a goldmine. I like SpecOps a lot too. Soundhack spectral shapers are great.kidslow wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2024 10:15 pm Puremagnetik is good for a few:Here's a few more effects I just recently cataloged, but haven't had a chance to take through the paces. Something old, something new:
- Fathoms - spectral ambient processor
- Partikl (was Granule) - Inspired by the Red Panda Particle guitar pedal. Grains are routed through a looper, a spectral pitch shifter, and a variable delay line.
- Canvas - "texture microsampler" with spectral freeze
- Soundmagic Spectral https://www.michaelnorris.info/software ... c-spectral
- Spectral Suite https://www.andrewreeman.com/spectralsuite
- Tugspect (spectral filter) https://tugrulakyuz.gumroad.com
- Spectral Compressor https://github.com/robbert-vdh/nih-plug ... compressor
Reason's: Lectric Panda Nostromo 2 is an instrument, but fairly unique - https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... ynthesizer
