Hi,

I want to reamp some stereo tracks with my Apollo Twin and Radial EXTC through stereo pedals and I'm wondering if i only need two TRS-cables (one being TRS to XLR) going to and from the Apollo or four of those because it's stereo?

Thank you!

Stereo means two cables to send and two for the return. Just look at your effect inputs & outputs.

Yes, I understand that for the loop with the pedals. But i was thinking i only need one TRS for send and one for return into the interface?

I've missed something: the Radial EXTC is a mono box. You need two of those for proper stereo operation.

No, it's the EXT Stereo, so then I understand that a single TRS-cable cant do stereo?

So did you take a proper look at the connections it has?

It can, if you use a Y-adapter (on both sides of the cable) so tip & ring can go to their own left or right input/output connector.

So actually: nope. The only case where a single TRS cable is really used stereo is on headphones. For all line-level equipment it's usually just mono, optionally balanced (Tip: hot; Ring: cold; Sleeve: ground)

Okay! Thank you for clarifying!
