How to do this, that and the other. Share, learn, teach. How did X do that? How can I sound like Y?

Hey guys!

Finally getting around the working of Reaper.
And made my first basic 4 track song. :hyper: :tu:

Can you give me some opinions / feedback of what I need to do to polish this up and just generally re the performance etc :help:
It’s just 1 drum loop + 3 tracks of guitar w amp sims.

Song “Mix”

Homemade or AI? :)
Sounds pretty good though. Mick Jagger's voice is missing :)

There is a music sharing section that might be better for this... but I like what you've done. Any vocal plans?

I would hope this newfangled AI can do better than that ! :hihi:

I don't know what you were aming for, but this sounds like it wants to go in the direction of, The Rolling Stones, The Who or the Black Crows. To me, it is crying out for a lead vocal, a strong bass line and lead guitar. None of these need to be complex, just competent. Try and pin the bass down first, it will tie everything together.

Hope this helps All the best. Bishka
oops, that wasn't supose to happen!

I am going to give you my opinion as someone who simply scrolled through this subforum. This is not my type of music at all so with that being said your mix sounds to me as a super expensive track coming out of a super nice production facility. I am no expert in this type of music at all (or any) but your instruments really have a space and sound more than decent.

I think you did a good job in achieving whatever you want to achieve despite the fact I don't know what you want to do haha. I guess it is my way of saying I like your track and the "sound" of it.
