With the new 24.1 update the Launchpad X using dbm is now showing those toast notifications whenever a note or chord is played - https://imgur.com/a/k93SAEu

I've disabled the controller notifications for the launchpad x dbm script but it still shows the notifications regardless of the setting.

I'm sure some people would fine this sort of chord name thing useful but IMO it could do with a toggle as it's pretty distracting seeing all notes shown in the centre of the screen.

Side note there are a few other Launchpad X notifications that have been added recently (this year I think, but prior to the newest update) that I find a little disruptive. When using the play mode changing the focus from an instrument track to an audio track or vice versa will show 'clip length' or 'play' notification.

I considered turning off notifications but I still rely on them for selecting a root note and scale, perhaps some setting toggles for filtering categories of messages could be useful for all of these...

I have one small request, with the Novation Launchkey MK3 script. Now the rotary knobs are at start up assigned to " pan" can you change this to "volume" ? Or can i do this myself somehow? It is a not a deal breaker ofcourse but i would prefer volume as default after the script has started.

Edit:
I can see maybe why you added the default rotary knobs to pan, because you probably have a launchkey 49 or even 88 with sliders and added volume to them! I have the 37 model without sliders.

Love the Moss scripts, but can we get an option to turn off what notes/chords are being played. It does get a bit distracting and as the previous posts suggest turning off controller notifications doesn't stop it.

Trying to edit remote controls whilst playing and focused on Device...cannot see anything but the note recognition.

Hi i noticed for the akai fire if I press the shift button which flips between note mode and the arp page that turning controls assigned to user 1 will move slowly in note mode and fast in the arp selection page strange. Its sporadic also. If I press the step mode on and off and back to the note mode, then the knobs might move fast again. but pressing shift from note mode to the arp settings page always messing up note mode and the knobs move slowly again. Version 24.1. clearly the controls do not move freely on the note mode.

Another issue im having is that pressing shift alt and the select knob to change the device page, ends up switching to the arp control page every time and I have to press shift again to get back to the note page.

Not sure this is the best place to post this, but if possible could you please add a version number to the DrivenByMoss.bwextension file so we can see what version it is. Right now, no version number is shown in the Mac file Info window.

Yeah, it is a bit tricky since I had to make the Shift mode permanent:
- Keeping Shift pressed also triggers the slow (fine) change of the knobs
- If using Shift+Alt make sure to press the Alt button first

The bwextension file is just a ZIP file and you can open it with any ZIP program. It contains a file MANIFEST.MF in the sub-folder META-INF. This is a text file which contains the version number.

Unfortunately Push 1 remains regressed with 24.2

Pressing a note (or playing a note clip) ..blanks the screen....system wide.
