Voice stealing; transport Pause function

1) When the CV Converter is set to Poly, is there any way to enforce voice stealing for note repetitions (i. e. behaviour like on an acoustic piano, for example) instead of the repetitions eating up voices?

2) When using VAZ in a DAW, is there any way (within VAZ patches or in the DAW) to enable sequence transport pausing in the VAZ sequencers the same way the DAW transport functions, instead of having VAZ' sequencer modules always reset to Step 1 in the Song Editors when playback stops?
