Do these immersive plugins bring anything to the table when you're producing simple stereo tracks?

I have heard very good review from pro audio reverb user who I trust.

I have seen a number of people stating that Blackhole is noticeably improved even in stereo mode.martinjuenke wrote: Thu Aug 15, 2024 8:30 pm Do these immersive plugins bring anything to the table when you're producing simple stereo tracks?

Yes. It's clearly an updated algorithm in some ways, also with some additional parameters to tweak as well like crossfeed, a better EQ, and the ability to adjust pre-delay separate from loop.agharta wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 6:40 amI have seen a number of people stating that Blackhole is noticeably improved even in stereo mode.martinjuenke wrote: Thu Aug 15, 2024 8:30 pm Do these immersive plugins bring anything to the table when you're producing simple stereo tracks?
That being said, Immersive is not worth the regular asking price IMO, but it is worth it when they deep discount it.
Cheers

Eventide plugins are available as free 30-day demos, so you may compare the Blackhole H9 series plugin and Blackhole Immersive plugin that way.
The effect architecture for Blackhole Immersive stays true to the original sound while conforming to a new UX ideal for Atmos productions. Loading the Blackhole Immersive stereo component will give you the features of the new scheme, and the audible results will differ from the H9 series plugin. You can hear this most clearly when using the Freeze function of both plugins, but that aside there are other departures made under the hood such as a revamped modulation section and updated Gravity knob that maintains a similar 'power' or energy when automated or moved.

I have made a huge mistake and downloaded the demo of this plugin. I loved the standard Blackhole before I heard the new one. Now there is absolutely no chance to go back to the earlier version. It's almost the same sound, but so much more quality in the immersive version. (I use only stereo).
The next mistake was to download the H3000 MK II demos. They do sound on the same quality level as the Blackhole immersive. For my music (yoga music and piano impros over ambient electronics) it's a perfect fit. I was very satisfied with the effects I had before, now I'm not so satisfied anymore.

Best not demo the Immersive Micropitch then, particularly given your genres.Stirner wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2024 12:50 pm I have made a huge mistake and downloaded the demo of this plugin. It's almost the same but also much better? Seems a bit contradictory.Stirner wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2024 12:50 pm I have made a huge mistake and downloaded the demo of this plugin. Exactly - it's the same reverb, but with upgraded quality - more resolution and details. Not just different but clearly better. Like watching the same movie on a bigger screen.mi-os wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2024 3:24 pm It's almost the same but also much better? Seems a bit contradictory.
