What I have done is created a new bank (I called it Custom, but feel free to call it Favourites or some other appropriate name). Move this bank to the top of all the other banks so that when you start TH-U the bank should be already selected. Place your presets in this bank and if you want to add some presets from other banks, just use copy/paste.

POD Farm looks much better than Line 6 Helix Native, which is a greater concern.
A bit OT but HELL YEAH!! Pod Farm UI is great.....Helix Native blows chunks.
I get that YAMAHA did that to make it play nice with Helix harware,
which, given Line 6's crap support for their hardware, is probably not
something I'm going to buy. They are also ending Line 6 Monkey AND
License Manager and replacing it with "Line 6 Control" which does not
support all legacy hardware. So I guess I'd better sell my PODX3 & Toneport
DI Gold before they become boat anchors at year's end. :dog:

Lol at the Helix native comment. Also ‘Yes’. I could not work with HN.
That’s really annoying re the legacy support.
I hated that Line 6 monkey & LM so much. Their original Gearbox software + Toneport + monkey + LM was a mega PITA to use.. ( Naillerz lights up pipe ) I’d imagine it was the same pita across all their following SW / HW interfaces.

Seriously tho, that Overloud is just such an eyesore wtf is up with that.
The design team ought to be taken outside , lined up and shot.

Maybe that’s taking things too far. :hihi: :o

I recently bought American Classics library and got the basic TH U to use. I use it with the one stomp box included infront of the rig player followed by the one reverb included. I turn off the cabinet and use the captured amp with my IRs. I find the sound lively like NAM with a smaller CPU hit. So its great for tracking. The emulated amps sound as good as the regular vst amp sims out there but the rig player is where it is at. Definately a rabbit hole of rig buying if you are into that. I play mostly crunch and edge of break up.
My present top of the world rig at the moment is NAM using an Arlington Audio capture of the Ritchie Blackmore Engl using York 212 IR. That costs 7.5% on my setup. Th u delivers similar response at a cost of 1%. Fair value for me but one could easily spend hundreds on rigs.....not my thing. I may do the British bundle or a Choptones Plexi in the future if on sale.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Hmm Ritchie Blackmore Engl..yes yes ! :o :hyper: :tu:
I’ve just bought a new laptop to run NAM that’ll be on my list to grab asap.
A 100W Engl would be a fire-breathing beast.
I’d imagine it ‘Burns’ quite well.. hihi:
