Mr. Karr, a gray-white-haired man who owns a small shop is very
impressed, almost overwhelmed, by Mrs. Beau. Why that is and
what happened you will hear here - with drums, bass + guitars:

"mr. karr" -- note: This requires clicking the grey "play"-button.

Thank you, Allomerus!

Yes, exactly - an ordinary shoplifting situation with a
beguilingly charming mother who impresses Mr. Karr.
The idea is based on "All the Years of her Life"
by Morley Callaghan.

Instead of focusing on heart, pain and life stories as
usual, the guitarist also finds this topic very important.

Great rock song. I liked it in every way... the structure, the performance and the sounds. Good record.

Ha, yes of course, we'll be grateful for your suggestion.
However, it will take a while to change all the songs like this.

Another top track. Love the storytelling.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Wow. that's probably the biggest snare I've heard for a long time. Definitely a throwback to the late '80s. It's a very dynamic-sounding piece with the drums helping to drive the changes through the song. Good storytelling.

I imagine that telling the second part of the story would require a complete change of mood and atmosphere, which would take you in a completely different musical direction.

Good work :)

enroe,
Thank you for the review! Now your song: as usual, your vocals remind me of Bowling For Soup, though sound more effected than usual (a compliment). You've gotten better with the vocal pitch correction/pitch shifting with time; perhaps the vocal delay(s) are helping too. Everything sounds good to me! Very good melodies and audio quality!

Another very strong piece of songwriting with an excellent arrangement. The vocals sound quite good.

The mix is very good overall. With respect to the drums, the kick drum is pretty low in the mix and the cymbals sound kind of lo-fi.

I looked up the story that inspired it and see there was further character development for the son. However, I understand there is only so much you can fit into the lyrics of a rock song.

Nice work! :tu:
