VirtualCZ even though I thought I was done with softsynths. Add an exciter for some HF fizz and it sounds very very good.
Also the Acon Digital Mastering bundle. Just great sounding mix tools, I wish I'd found these earlier.

Only two this year plus some freebies.
Primarily due to functionally I've closed all essential necessities categorically like compression/eq/reverb/delay/etc.
So here is a brief but nasty feedback (eah, I produce presets but can be critically nasty... or nastily critical((()
- EQuivocate by Newfangled Audio
Total disappointment after EQuivocate and its latency kindly allowed me to enjoy making coffee in the kitchen whilst super hi-tech working sweat and blood on my frequency response
- FUSER by Mastering The Mix
Incredible dynamic tool which, apart of unmasking, will correct phase cancellation between both of your tracks whatever your are trying to crossbreed, from Bass and Kick to Square and Rabbit
Nobly has the same place of really OUTSTANDING inventions like DSM V3 by PA (I use it as a compressor/unmasker/spectral-dynamic matcher, plus it has 1.1 latency) and free RMSC (free Ring-Mod Side-Chain processor)

I finally bought Zebra Legacy! I had Zebra before but never seen or played with Zebra HZ. What a synth!
Zebra never gets old! A classic

Are they any unreleased/beta only products in the kvr's readers choice awards list?
I for one don't think they should be.
Why on earth should a plugin not yet released be up for readers choice award?

I for one think you should not vote for them. After all, isn't that what voting is!zvenx wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 12:45 pm Are they any unreleased/beta only products in the kvr's readers choice awards list?

I understood. But absent changing the rules that you and I don't control, you can simply exercise your vote to simply not for them. It's the next best thing.

Yeah the rules doesn't seem to specify whether they need to be released products, just favourite.

I just get suspicious with someone whose entire posting history are on one subject which is a product... unless they are a developer for that product or an employee for that company..

The Reader's Choice voting page specifically says that the shortlists it gives were 'compiled from September's Nomination Stage'Tocan wrote: Tue Oct 15, 2024 12:35 pm I use since it appears Synestia from Rhizomatic a lots. So if your favourite toy isnt listed, then its because they didnt get through the nomination stage.
But wait. If you'd spent even 3 seconds at the page you'd have noticed that every category allows you to vote for something else in the KVR plugin database.
And if your favorite toy isnt listed there, then its up to the developer to submit to the KVR database."Don't agree with the shortlist? No problem, you can choose whatever you want: Search the KVR Database for your choice in this category"

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how I look at it,I feel like I’ve run out of things I want although I’m thinking of getting Hy-Poly and something from U-he maybe

Some UVI extensions on my side. I spent an awful lot in 2023 with avenger 2, Current and many many other stuffs, now I have an hard time wanting stuffs.
I resisted buying reason 13 (well they helped me to he honest).
I resisted buying myth (I'll probably buy it when discounted).
Oh I also bought a premium sound bank from Bitwig Studios. (Some will run after me with forks for that ....)
I bought pro C2 and pro mb from the excellent fabfilters.... And also kickdrum (audija) and too much avenger 2 extensions.
