More important, as a starting point, can your patch authors normalize the loudness of all your patches so they don't come blasting through the speakers when previewing some of them? I have to remember to turn down my audio interfaces before trying new patches.

Yeah this is my pet peeve, I hope they fix the volume issues with presets.

I'll see what I can do about it. Maybe I can come up with something in May, I already had a prototype code written in C# for it. now it's time to make that code run in real-time

The potential for Synthmaster 3 is utterly fantastic and I hope the authors put more velocity dynamics into the presets their construct.

Performance Controls: Make sure you use at least the 2 of the following performance modulation sources in your patches:
MIDI Velocity
Channel Aftertouch
Modulation Wheel
Pitch Wheel

So yes we expect our sound designers to use velocity / aftertouch / mod wheel.

About normalization: I am the one who does the final normalization. Normalization is tricky though, when there is velocity / aftertouch / modwheel modulation. At which velocity / aftertouch / modwheel are you going to normalize? That's the real question I usually take the one at which the sound is loudest/brightest. I also developed an automatic normalization feature which calculates peaks based on LUFS calculation algoritm.

Will SynthMaster 3 have Linux support?

After I finish SynthMaster 3 iOS and SynthMaster 3 Player I think I might find some time to work on Linux. (That would be around 2025 Q1)

I get an error that Synthmaster 3 cant create Cloudsync directory.

After that it crashes Ableton on my M3 Mac
