Yeah this is my pet peeve, I hope they fix the volume issues with presets.fretflyer wrote: Fri May 03, 2024 1:25 pm More important, as a starting point, can your patch authors normalize the loudness of all your patches so they don't come blasting through the speakers when previewing some of them? Well, that pretty much answers that question.kv331 wrote: Fri May 03, 2024 3:00 pmhttps://soundcloud.com/kv331synthmaster ... ry-presetsegbert101 wrote: Fri May 03, 2024 1:42 pm No sound demos since public beta? Come on guys, is just gone into beta, give the guy a chance to breathe while his sound design minions work...
Bülent: back to the lab!
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better?

I was already in the lab. and here's the result, our Introduction to SynthMaster 3 Beta video:syntonica wrote: Fri May 03, 2024 3:59 pm Bülent: back to the lab!(Which is a roundabout way of saying many thanks.)
I am now going to start our official thread here on Instruments forum. Please post in that thread. Thank you!

I'll see what I can do about it. Maybe I can come up with something in May, I already had a prototype code written in C# for it. now it's time to make that code run in real-timeGam456 wrote: Fri May 03, 2024 6:32 pm Any news for the granular ? Is it still on schedule for the v3 ?

The potential for Synthmaster 3 is utterly fantastic and I hope the authors put more velocity dynamics into the presets their construct.
Performance Controls: Make sure you use at least the 2 of the following performance modulation sources in your patches:
MIDI Velocity
Channel Aftertouch
Modulation Wheel
Pitch Wheel
So yes we expect our sound designers to use velocity / aftertouch / mod wheel.
About normalization: I am the one who does the final normalization. Normalization is tricky though, when there is velocity / aftertouch / modwheel modulation. At which velocity / aftertouch / modwheel are you going to normalize? That's the real question

Is this still looking like a possibility?kv331 wrote: Thu Aug 17, 2023 8:14 amAfter I finish SynthMaster 3 iOS and SynthMaster 3 Player I think I might find some time to work on Linux. (That would be around 2025 Q1)
