The people calling out bullying are bullies themselves and people like you are just pilling on

So thanks for the bullying disguised as an unasked for lecture

Self-righteous bullies on the internet give me no hope for humanity

Post

Zero self-righteousness here. I think some people here are being super nasty. That's my opinion. You can say your opinion without being an asshole to other people.

If indirect comments about bullying make you feel defensive, what does that tell you? :u

Well so far I have not seen any indirect comments about bullying, what I have seen is self righteous passive aggressive bullying from people like yourself. There has been zero indirect comments

what it tells me is that I have no faith in humanity when people like yourself set themselves up as the gatekeepers

So to me that comes across as "this is the way we're going to do business no matter what feedback we may get from users (or more importantly potential users) and we don't care if you like it or not.
Hey Teksonik, my intention is to convey that you can choose what you want to do with your money and that my job (which is constantly called into question on here) has never been to convince you stay with Roland Cloud or begin a membership, my job is help people with issues they are having regarding Roland Cloud and to collect feedback from this forum among tons of other social groups. Every day I collect what I see in this forum and report it to my boss and so it goes up the chain. We create schedules for the year for the things we want to achieve and shift them according to bigger issues and as well as public demand. But building plug-ins takes time and we have plans to start releasing more. Sometimes schedules don't go according to plan of course, but I am always bringing up KVR's desire for new instruments, RCM issues constantly ect.. it IS my job. Just because your favorite synth hasn't been emulated yet doesn't mean im not sharing your feedback.
Teksonik wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 10:26 pm So whether a developer gets their arse kicked here or their arse kissed here is up to how they conduct their business and the respect they show to people who spend their hard earned money on that developer's products.
I feel I have been nothing but respectful to everyone on here. If for some reason you feel otherwise please bring it to my attention. I wish to maintain only a positive demeanor with everyone. But I personally believe I do not deserve to be "kicked in the arse" as much as I don't think you, or anyone deserves to be. I am extremely sympathetic to your grievances and I don't mind criticism of my own character to a certain extent, I want to be able to communicate better with everyone on here as much as I am allowed. But as I mentioned before, if you are not happy with Roland Cloud to the extent where you wish to try and personally attack or harm me or any of the staff at Roland Cloud support, maybe the product isn't for you and you should consider not using it OR please reach out to me and we can work something out. It's not worth the stress. I am always happy to discuss these things through DM if you feel you have been wronged by us we can definitely discuss solutions.

I'm one of those who would love to buy some of your plugins but won't because of the Roland Cloud Manager.

Sorry Jon but again that is demonstrably false. if your job not to sell memberships and you are only here on a tech support role why do you come on here and post about things like Play 4 Life promotions, and other marketing promotions?

I am amazed at the total lack of integrity being displayed here by Roland Cloud
Often times people ask "when is Play 4 Life available" so I make sure to let people know when it is. People on here ask about other deals or offers as well so I try and let people know when they pop up. I have recently decided to refrain from doing it on here as much because Im met with backlash, and that's fine, if that's not what you want to see I won't post it.

You often question my integrity on here but spend a good deal of your free time trying to provoke me and insult me, is that "integrity" to you? If you want to have a discussion via PM so we can try to remedy this I am happy to do so and have the integrity to work it out with you privately. I am not afraid of confrontation and do not want bad energy between us. I still often times cite your feedback in my reports and generally value your feedback. But I will not be dragged into a public discussion about this any further with you because it's unprofessional.

I only know that you do Play 4 Life twice a year because you told me here the other day when it came up. I find those comments informative and useful.

all this criticism gets ignored on and on and nothing is made in stone by Roland/Jon. again they seem to still have enough subscribers to not change their bad RCM and bad service. vice versa, they still dont care atm and/or dont show it at all.

pure unrespectful and nothing is made to get back old/long time subscribers, instead discontinuing products, hollow announcements etc.

it is even writte, they dont care, you dont have to subscribe, great respone but also being true to everyone :hihi:

Hey Caine123, I would like to clarify that there have been no official announcements of anything other than me letting you know that we have things we plan on releasing this year. Which is true as we have already released one of them, the RE-201. We are always making efforts to improve RCM and in fact just released RCM v3.1.8 in attempts to remedy more issues. But as I said, I deal with customer support and I am not sure as to what phase of production things are in until they are very close to being released.
