They probably want the sound/feeling to stay true to the original.PietW. wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 9:08 am Why not import your own waveforms or samples to create your own wavetables like Nave?

No, Xenia is Microwave XT emulator, this is Microwave 1 emulator

Nope, its an emulation of the Microwave 1 by Waldorf themselves. While Xenia is recreating the DSP - based Microwave 2 / XT which are totally different Machines.

According to page 25 of the manual the 'Start' parameter determines phase.adamszabo wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 8:56 am Is there an osc phase knob setting somewhere in the plugin or am I blind? Its quite annoying that the oscs are always playing at the same phase and when you detune them you get the nasty phasing sound each time.
By means of this parameter you can define the Startwave
and, as a result, the phase of the generated wave. Alterna-
tive to a fixed value, you can use free to set the phase to a
different, random value each time a note is generated.

Ten years ago, I would have bought it. But now? I used to the have the original hardware which I used in several songs. But truly what can this piece of software do, others cannot, and even better? This is not for me!

You mean sloppy because they are digital, or sloppy because they are not good?tellHerSatan wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 10:50 pm Yes, sloppy digital envelopes which are emulated. See around 9:09 in the deep device video for details.
IOW, all digital envelopes are sloppy for you - yes/no?

Has anyone figured out how to sync the LFOs? The manual is a bit unclear on this. Says if Global is on LFO1 is a shadow copy of LFO2 and is synced. I think I've tried all possible combinations but nothing syncs to the DAW tempo.

Lots of wonderful sounds for the Microwave. Even though I don't like a few things, the plugin sounds great.

I think he means, the original envelopes on the hardware were digital, and were sloppy, and they have been recreated that way for the plugin.Medenka wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 12:11 pmYou mean sloppy because they are digital, or sloppy because they are not good?tellHerSatan wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 10:50 pm Yes, sloppy digital envelopes which are emulated. Not that all digital envelopes are inherently sloppy.
