Yes, I am thinking about this for a while that the vertical keyboard should be made more capable. I thought that adding a separate horizontal keyboard will be useful. I don't like that the vertical piano keyboard is displayed in the track header. Maybe a vertical lane could be added between the header and track contents. And the current drag/zoom/restore functionality will have to use modifier keys, e.g. shift.
Firstly thanks for the updated demos. I really appreciate that.
What I'm saying is that beside adding horizontal keyboard, enable preview notes on the whole roll. For example pressing mouse middle or CTRL+Right CLICK button would be a good shortcut key for allowing this. When you are on the whole roll, you don't need to change the position of mouse pointer and refer to the main horizontal or vertical keyboard. Previewing notes should be available without mouse position changing.

:?: Where do you see a horizontal list? I cannot find this. There should not be one. Will you send me a screenshot?

Thanks,
Attila
For example add "FluidR3 GM.sf2" to the Soundfonts list under the setting. Then select it as the instrument of any track. FluidR3 GM.sf2 has lots of instrument. As you would notice, changing instrument in this long list would be time-consuming. Also there's no way to fix the position of the selected instrument and with every change of instrument you need to go from the top of the list to every new instrument you need.

I am sorry, I cannot find this bug. I expected this would be gone when a race condition was fixed.
I don't remember: are you on macOS?
I'm on Windows. All the bugs (Randomness) appear when you are in "I II III" mode on the top row under For Chord Progression tab.

Hi !
Firstly, when dragging Audio to a track, the program immediately crashes (report attached)

Secondly, it would be good to add a window for visually changing the bit parameters to the audio-midi conversion parameter adjustment window, otherwise it is difficult to understand what the midi file will be like. Well, something like in the picture...This was once done beautifully in the Recycle program.

And thirdly, I would really like a keyboard command !

I noticed that I can set a new scale only where there is a chord on the master track and I can't set several new scales for a continuing chord. If I have one chord in the master track for the entire bar and want to set several new scales during this bar, then I will have to set several identical chords in the master track for each new scale. It seems wrong and inconvenient to me, because one chord in a bar is enough if it does not change.
And I would really like to add a command for "collect scales for the selected chord" . Thanks .

And also not a bad solution for converting audio to midi. Especially not bad and clear adjustments for a clear result. It's free. And by the way, it's not clear how to convert in RC with controllers, for example with pitch. This is important.

Fun fact! RC's Audio to midi is the same code from Neural Note. It's open source, so, it was built into RC..

Yes, thanks for the information.

After installing RapidComposer-5.3.0b10, When I want to launch the program, it says:

The procedure entry point CreateFile2 cound not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll.

On Windows 7.

Is there still no support to save/export guitar tracks in a guitar-friendly format like GP5 which keeps the fingerings that the new RC now is able to calculate?
Best regards and keep on creating music,

Unfortunately, no. But, if you need TAB, either you can get GP, or, what I do at the moment is use MuseScore. But, even that doesn't save to the GP format. It does generate MIDI though and will produce a TAB style view.

Since I got one of Ample Sounds Guitar VST's, I have been working with TAB in that. It can read TAB too and play the TAB file. (it also can convert TAB to midi)

I looked for code to do that, but, it looks like you would have to pay to get that functionality from the author of Guitar Pro, which probably won't happen.

Hi lulukom,

I just checked (sorry, I did not know) that one of the pre-built libraries that is needed for NeuralNote requires at least macOS 10.15. I'll see what I can do to support 10.13 but probably not much. I'll add a version check so that no crash occurs.

Thanks,

But what's the matter?.. But the NeuralNote standalone version works fine for me with 10.13 Mac OS

I am sorry, Windows 7 is not supported since v5.0. This has never caused problems, but now one of the new libraries uses a system call not present on Windows 7.
