lulukom wrote: Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:56 pm But what's the matter?.. But the NeuralNote standalone version works fine for me with 10.13 Mac OS
The problem is with the pre-built onnxruntime library that I downloaded from this page:
https://github.com/csukuangfj/onnxruntime-libs/releases
It was built for 10.15+.
I will attempt to build this library myself if I'll have a few hours.

FluidR3 GM.sf2 has lots of instrument. As you would notice, changing instrument in this long list would be time-consuming. Also there's no way to fix the position of the selected instrument and with every change of instrument you need to go from the top of the list to every new instrument you need.
I see, you mean the long menu. If you use that soundfont a lot, I recommend making groups in the FluidR3 GM.SF2.rcINST file. You can edit it with a text editor. Add a 'group' entry for each line (just like in GeneralUser GS-RC.sf2.rcINST):

Code: Select all

 group="Piano";
Then instruments will be displayed in submenus, just like for GeneralUser GS-RC.sf2.

The procedure entry point CreateFile2 cound not be located in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll.

On Windows 7.
I am sorry, Windows 7 is not supported since v5.0. This has never caused problems, but now one of the new libraries uses a system call not present on Windows 7.

Isn't there any way to solve this issue on Windows 7? Because before Demo 10, everything was fine.

Yes, of course, good idea!

AxBC wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2024 3:52 am I recorded an audio track from some EZKeys output and dropped it into the latest RC beta 10. The audio comes in and plays and sounds correct. However, when I select that audio in RC and right click and select "Convert selected audio to MIDI..." it opens but is cut off. Some kind of sizing issue so I have no way to click on an OK button or whatever performs the process. I assume this is a bug?
:dog: You are right, the audio to MIDI options should not open in the inspector window (due to lack of space, when the inspectors are open in a separate window). I have fixed this. A new beta version is expected later today.

Thanks,
Attila

It also triggers the midi file checking, so, you get the bad midi error message when dropping audio..

RapidComposer v5.3b11 is available!

Some improvements and fixes for issues reported on this forum (thank you!).

Improvements:
  • One-click preview of audio phrases implemented
  • Stereo audio display
  • Fixed: audio phrases may have disappeared after 'undo'
  • Fixed: dropped audio was silent sometimes during playback
  • Fixed: when dropping audio, "the requested MIDI file cannot be opened" error message is not displayed anymore
  • Fixed: the audio to MIDI options do not open in the inspector window, but in the main window
  • The default instrument is set for new MIDI track (audio to midi)
  • [macOS] The macOS version is checked to avoid crashing. At the moment audio to MIDI conversion is not available below 10.15

With preview on, if you click the audio track, the ESC to stop play back doesn't work.

Also, and this is by no means a complaint, but, it opened a whole new black hole in time and space for making compositions. lol

I need the TAB format cause MIDI does not know about guitar fingerings.
I import MIDI into RC to optimize the fingerings, but unless RC can export the optimized fingerings in TAB format I am stuck and the new guitar features of RC are of no use for me.
Best regards and keep on creating music,

Yea, I understand. I have to look, but, I am pretty sure that no other software except Guitar Pro does the saving. It wouldn't make much sense otherwise, for a business to allow that. There would be no need to buy Guitar Pro.

Is the specific requirement/request here, about easy Guitar Pro format saving from within RC.?

If RC can save/export via MusicXML - that would work, wouldn't it.? Guitar Pro can readily import these...
System 1 - Win11; i9 13900HK miniPC; 64Gb; Iris XE graphics; Cubase 15.0.10; Studio Pro v8.0.3;UR44 i/o
System 2 - Win10; i7 4790; 16Gb; GTX750Ti; Cubase v14.0.41; WLab Pro v12.0.51; StudioOne v6.6.4

Yea, I looked around a bit and found TuxGuitar, but, it is no longer being developed. It seems that is written in Java..

Guitar Pro can import midi too..

I mean, this is definitely Atilla's call. I am just looking out for the guy so that he doesn't get in any trouble with the GP people. As an example, might be why TuxGuitar went away..

I may get GP myself.. The only thing that really is stopping me is, it's a subscription, which I try to avoid when I can.

:) I am sorry! I have fixed this.

Also, for macOS 10.13 and 10.14 users, audio-to-MIDI will work.

Thanks!
