My first time entering an OSC! It's also my first completed track in 20 years. It's more of a jam than a fully realized song, but I'm shaking the dust off, hence the title.
Made in Bigwig with 1 instance of Geonkick-- synthesized drums only, no samples used-- and 3 instances of SurgeXT. No effects used outside of the synth's built-in effects. For what little mixing there was, I just used the free Kilohearts Essentials Gain and EQ plugins, and Bitwig's Compressor+.
Finally, I want to credit the authors of the SurgeXT presets I lightly modified: John Valentine (Sweet Bass Guitar), Roger Linn (Pedal Steel), and Sola (Hammond's Hall).

Hi friends,
after a little break I made a song again:
created in Reaper with 27 instances of mainly SurgeXT tracks and a couple Vital tracks. I used only Reaper fx for reverb, eq, limiter and compressor plus Span for making frequencies visible.
Best regards and have fun listening to it!

In a disturbing turn of events, Spaceman D. Bassman flirts dangerously with major scales, gets sassy with a saxophonist, plays Arkanoid on his Grandpa's Amiga, does some cleaning round the house, and brings it all to a climax while totally amped up to the max on Tequila, Pimms and Irn Bru.

This round was all about trying something new for me. Never done anything in DnB. Most sounds are free Vital presets adjusted to my needs. Hope you will have fun listening and I am all open for hard and critical comments.

Used Synthesizer and effects: (More a one synth challenge for me)
2 SurgeXT (for the HH)
16 Vital
Effects:
OrilRiver
Solaris
TDR Molotok
Cubase:EQ, Compressor, Limiter
And I learned the new word 'Adrenergic' just by luck. I tried to translate Adrenalin (German) and the translator had this much better word for me as a title.
The picture is made with Dall-E 3

Here's my entry for OSC 186 Any 2 Synths -
https://soundcloud.com/richard-semper/w ... al_sharing
I used Nakst Apricot - 15 Instances and Odin 2 - 1 Instance
DAW Mulab 9.5
DAW Fx: limiters, High and low pass filters, parametric eq, stereo splitter.
Third Party Fx: analyser - Voxengo Span, Voxengo Marvel GEQ.
Basically I was unable to take part in the Apricot round, so this was my chance. It's based around a 5 beat arpeggio I created with this synth. I thought I might use more of Odin 2, but ended up using it just for the snare.
This track is dedicated to my lovely Jenny who in spite of many current ailments managed to walk several miles of difficult coastal path to get the photo of a waterfall for my cover pic.

This month's track has nothing to do with Viking mythology or sandwiches of any sort but it does use the Odin 2 and Triple Cheese synths. This one started life as a baseline played on an actual keyboard. Still, I did use Scaler to tell me what key my effort was in so I could get the rest mostly in tune. Anyway, this track was produced in Bitwig Studio with 7 instances of Odin 2 and 6 Triple Cheese. All patches from init.
