Looks like Komplete 15 is coming / being announced this week
When you type "Native Instruments Komplete 15" in google, you get results from music shop SonoVente with Komplete 15 different versions & artworks...
No info yet when you click on it though, so still a mystery what the 2 or 3 new added products will be.

Yeah curious to see the new stuff
Some Kontakt X with a synth engine added ? Battery 5 ?
Would like to see NI release a MIDI FX like Scaler, that would be interesting
Hopefully something cool & not just a bunch of Play instruments

I am still on ultimate 13 I think…just lost interest in NIs due to a lack of significant updates or development. I also don’t need any more packs or sample based instruments. All the interesting stuff seems to be phased out for 3rd party ‘content’. Let’s see what comes…but I am not optimistic.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Pretty funny. I ran the translation of the site and this is the first sentence: "The 15th generation of KOMPLETE bloated production packs from Native Instruments will be released on September 23, 2024 ."Olnium wrote: Sun Sep 01, 2024 9:38 pm September 23rd according to this:

Bloated sounds about right.

No doubt there will probably be a huge amount of sample content in the form of their packs. But I too would love to see a brand new synth or two that are ultra-modern. If I had my pick, I'd flip out for a Razor 2 with additive, granular and sample manipulation, spectral synthesis and maybe even physical modeling. It would have an onboard sequencer/arp, and improve on the technology that made Razor so cool to begin with. Of course, I wouldn't complain if they created one synth with half of those features, and a second one with the other half.
I also think it's absolutely critical to make compatibility updates to current software (especially Apple Silicon Native on entire lineup), and some breathtaking new multi-effects outside of Reaktor or Guitar Rig would be fantastic! Again, I'd want something truly modern and unique to the scene. That would thrill countless NI customers, and bring back some of the enthusiasm for the brand. I work hard to buy the software that I use. NI has an opportunity to please it's user base and not just their investors. I hope they choose wisely. I guess we'll see. Fingers crossed!

I was thinking about this the other day. When Razor came out, it was ahead of its time, and computers of that era struggled to run it properly. Today, my PC runs the OG version with ease. If they launched Razor 2 and it took advantage of todays computing power, I'd buy it in an instant.morphex wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2024 2:33 am If I had my pick, I'd flip out for a Razor 2 with additive, granular and sample manipulation, spectral synthesis and maybe even physical modeling.
That said, I'd also love to see a complete (Komplete?) re-write of Reaktor.
