Just Kontakt 8

Guitar Rig 7 Pro has been out in the wild.

They also removed lots of content from Standard to make Ultimate more enticing.

Well, there’s more content here than in the K14 upgrade.

If you’re not dying to collect sample libraries, then there’s really not much worth the asking price (in my opinion).

Alicia’s Electric Keys looks good, but I can live without it.

Kontakt 8, I’ll need to see more, but the performance/songwriting tools don’t seem like anything I’d need.

I could be interested in a 50% off Kontakt 8 upgrade price at sometime in the future.

I don't know, its no better than the 14 upgrade for me (and 14 was very poor). I haven't even bothered downloading 70% of my Ultimate 13 stuff since moving to a new PC...makes you realise how little of it you actually use...

K* just looks like gimmicky add ins (players), but we will see..I wonder if it will even be out when 15 is released, remember the Massive X fiasco!
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Apart from even more Kontakt libraries to clutter up your drive, not much else new.
There's Ozone 11 and apparently you also get Neutron 4, but only if you pre-order. What is this, an Electronic Arts game? Can't wait for the Komplete Battle Pass and loot boxes...

Doesn't seem to include any new PA plugins. Guess they don't want to cannibalize iZotope/PA sales too much.
Take a single oscillator, producing a drone. Send it to the wave shaper, altering the tone.
This can be a triangle, Sawtooth or a square. Modulate the pulse width, nobody will care

The biggest and most disappointing news is this: Reaktor 6 seems to be discontinued.

If you look at the page comparing the editions, it's not there for any edition.

My hopes were as low as you can have them, but I was still rooting for R6 to be kept alive for a while. Such an amazing, versatile and creative tool. No other single plugin has sparked such a community and so many extremely creatyive ensembles were made.

M4L is close in creativity, but as it's pretty much Ableton-only, it'll never achieve the same reach.

It's weird because it includes both Reaktor Prism and Reaktor Spark so you would think it would include Reaktor too so they can work properly

you need only sample libraries, creativity and keeping it alive and updated is too expensive :D
checkout beat tutorials, use this loop and that loop, put some loopcloud samples in there, let ozone master it, tadaaaa you got a banger :tu:

you have no f**king idea what you're talking about. Whatever floats your boat, but this has nothing in any way to do with Reaktor, it's legacy and it's impact on music production. And if you're being ironical, try harder.

I will start looking for alternatives to Kontakt. These recurring updates without any added value are not for me.

Decent?
Halion?
UVI?

What do all the smart people here think?

No mention of Massive either and yet it includes 3 Massive banks. It seems to me this table is not well thought through :)
