That has nothing at all to do with with DSP calculations and PDC, notice that when static buffers is enabled, that Reaktor always uses a single buffer, when it is off it uses non, if you have a DSP set up (Most likely an effect, not a synth) that has a big latency added, Reaktor will still use a single buffer if on static, and report zero if the buffer is not static.gentleclockdivider wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 4:24 pmthat's just user error , but I am sure you will come up with a competent replybungle wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2024 4:13 pm
Not really, the biggest thing they needed to do was to work out how to report latency to the host, which they never did, never intend to do, and makes Reaktor useless in any situation where an ensemble adds latency because PDC does not work.![]()
Just untick 'use static processing buffers 'if your host allows

This is not conspiracy theory (no matter how smarmy you want to be with your reply) this is something that NI have commented on many times.
But hey, carry on, you think you know best, so that is good enough, I guess you think high latency plugins like Izotope produce no latency when you turn off static buffers too.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a few ensembles that were erased from the user library. They're two synths called Infrastructure and Redux, and a drum machine which name I don't remember. They were all from the same author. Hopefully someone can upload the files or point towards a working link

Let's see how long the Reaktor User Library will be kept up be NI, now that they've made its discontinuation pretty much official (it's not part of any Komplete 15 edition).
I'm a sad panda.

I’m confused by discontinuing reaktor but continuing on with all the reaktor based instruments and effects. Wouldn’t they still have to continue with reaktor to maintain the rest of the catalogue built from it? Or maybe they’ll just maintain them through reaktor player?

I’m actually more surprised they continued kontakt as everyone I know uses it for its extensive options of third-party libraries instead of as their go-to sampler. Was hoping they’d do a “free” option for people who want to be able to load non-player libraries without having to buy the full version of kontakt.

I think that from their point of view, those are all of the customers who purchase Komplete on one of a couple of subscription schedules, i.e., either updating Komplete once a year in the half off sale, every few years, or once a year at full price, or some combination thereof. I doubt that they will ever make a free version for third party libraries. That has already not worked to move people over to Steinberg's offering, so I doubt that they feel any pressure.masterhiggins wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2024 11:24 pm I’m actually more surprised they continued kontakt as everyone I know uses it for its extensive options of third-party libraries instead of as their go-to sampler. Without Reaktor, my Komplete updates are over, full stop. I suspect that Reaktor users must be a minority? Surely they did some market research and know this to be true?
