Almost 9 years have passed since the RCM App was released and it is still a horrible mess which is a shame since it is needed for your plugins to work.
Wish they would bring back the good old Roland Content store where you only had to authorize your plugins 1 time and it was good to go.
You should get premium support and a great experience When your company demand premium prices compared to any other vst company.
I have seen a trend Lately where people get what they want from a P4L Subscription and then drop out after that and most of them are not interested in their plain subscription Model (Only when it is P4L).
I do wish Roland the best and I am happy that they have entered the Plugin arena but the sad truth is that Roland is always almost there instead of doing things properly to begin with.
That is why I compared The Cloud with how they treat Their HW in a earlier post.
They are almost there but something is always missing when it comes to Their SW or HW.
The only thing they Amazed me with and did right after a few years is the MC-101 where they added a Bunch of new features over time + opened up the Synth Engine which gave it the best Support I have seen after a release from them.
I hope the SH-4D will get the same treatment since it hasn't had any significant Updates since it was released and have only received Minor bug fixes and the last firmware update was April last year so that one is one example of almost there
I also wonder why we can't select any of their Effects as lifetime keys from P4L since no one is willing to pay $199 or €199 for a Delay plugin.
