Are my T- RackS 4.x / 5.x plugins going to appear within T- RackS 6 or do I need to upgrade?

If you have purchased any modules for T-RackS previously, these will be available in the paid versions of T-RackS 6, T-RackS 6 PRO, and T-RackS 6 MAX immediately after authorization.

T-RackS 6 INTRO cannot load modules from past versions of T-RackS.

The free T-RackS 6 INTRO version includes 3X modules (Classic Equalizer, Classic Compressor, & Master Match X Lite Version), and is limited to loading T-RackS 6 modules*.

*This includes any single module purchased after the T-RackS 6 release on 9/5/24.

Thanks for pointing that out Peter! I think that's a first for you guys right? No worries either way, I'll pass for now. Nothing really appealing for me in the new version and the TR5 versions I already own still work for me. This is an easy pass.

As you can see in the link I posted I am not the only one with these problems. No one there said it worked for him.

After frustrating experiences with support telling me to do what I have described I already had done at least now they are "looking into it".

If this happens one time with a new product release, ok, but if it happens EVRY time over years......

Evryone should make their own conclusions out of it....

Go to Account, click upgrade. Go to Max upgrade tab, click on picture not on Buy. You will be brought to a screen with a 99 upgrade price, add to cart etc. there is something funky going on there alright.

Kind of crazy that there are multiple paths to buying/upgrading that give you different prices based on how you navigate their site. We shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops to get the real upgrade price for Max owners. If I was going to actually upgrade I would have no idea what steps to use to get the $99 price like you have listed above and would be paying $199 instead (not that I am going to upgrade for that price).

What I find fascinating is that I purchased 5 v2 Max last week for my employer, and I logged in and I would get the same deal logged in as my company as I would for myself that's owned it for years. It's not a good feeling.

I bought TS4 Max less than three months ago. Any grace period or other considerations, other than the fact that I now own TR5 Max v2 as part of the bundle? I do see the $99 offer when I go to the site, but I am more interested in some kind of grace period discount due to my recent purchase. Thank you

Sorry to inform you that IK is not giving a grace period to those that bought a month ago let alone 3 months ago. The sad reality is if you get into bed with a dog with fleas, you're going to get fleas. So I don't get in bed with predatory companies like IK

If it's not a compelling release for you, fight the GAS and don't upgrade. Pretend version 6 doesn't exist. All your existing stuff still works exactly as it did yesterday. In 18 months, they'll have crazy sales. If not sooner.

Also noticed that VST2 is no longer supported. VST3, AU, AAX only.

So I've been buying many many plugins over the years....

Right from the days of Sonik Synth, ST3, ST4 max, Miroslav, then TR5 max, then Total studio Max....even after buying all this "loyally" I don't get the discount???

Still gotta pay $199?? Just because I don't have TR5 Max v2?? Heartbreak really...

How do you guys find out new ways to infuriate your loyal customers every freakin single time of a major release???

I feel I'm almost done with IKM now...

Don't wanna play this game anymore...

Or you can look at it like this: IK gave you the opportunity to buy-in to T-RackS at a super-low price which then qualifies you for a discount on T-RackS 6 MAX that's greater than what you paid for TR5.

Is it really unreasonable to pay some amount of money for a full version upgrade?
It only seems that way because T-RackS owners haven't had to do that since v2. But IK's developers need to eat, too, so eventually someone has to pay something.

It seems that it's not enough....you had to have v2 of even TR5 max - even though I've bought in to Total Studio Max 4....

Hoping that I'll at least get a good deal into upgrade of Total studio 5 Max??

Every single time, IKM makes really loyal customers question their loyalty to IKM!!

The reality is the IK is laughing at suckers like you. Don't do business with companies that treat you like a sucker.

I wish the old modules would have been updated instead of adding new ones that covers the same ground. Ex there’s still no dynamic eq, and none of the delays or reverbs have ducking. What about gain compensation?

Anyway, v5 was good value considering its lifespan and I’m still using the comps and tapes on a daily basis, but won’t be upgrading for 99+25% vat. Have better options for everything new in the bundle anyway,
