About Jonás Ersson, he recently published open code to recreate iblit, polyiblit & something similar to Drumular but just 16 parts. It IS hosted under Github, Gitcode or a similar repository page, and It is available as a make but only for Linux.
Maybe someone with a bit of time & experience could build It and share with the community...

Time? Yes. Experience? No. I've long considered trying my hand at compiling VSTs but have been intimidated by what I assumed would be a steep learning curve. I've just started to try starting yesterday and it is no longer an assumption. I don't even know what to install.wikter wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2024 7:16 am Maybe someone with a bit of time & experience could build It and share with the community...

There's a problem about this. Steinberg and their licenses. It's not possible to distribute an VST3 without signing a contract AGAINST VST2 with Steinberg.
Such a horrible Steinberg contract should be punished by users...

Took a stab at it and I'm running into SDK versioning issues. I might keep poking at this and see if I can get something working.pough wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 8:17 am Time? Yes. Experience? I'm not interested in getting into that discussion here - and probably not elsewhere, either. But I would be interested in generating CLAP versions of these plugins if I ever do manage to figure out how to do that. The likelihood is still quite low. Like 2% low.

After some flailing around I managed to generate a VST3 of polyfilur. It does not have a GUI (just a black square) but it makes noise. I don't know if the lack of GUI is on purpose or if something went wrong. There were hundreds of warnings during compilation but no errors.
