I am caught up on feedback. I have a couple of developer account requests yet to fulfill.

I need to note that the current developer functionality is nothing more than a shortcut for filling out fewer feedback fields. It auto-populates your developer information, and provides a dropdown for your existing entries when submitting a correction. It does not give you direct access to the database.

A few people are asking for me to categorize every FX entry into categories listing the specific FX type. I will consider this. There are SO many sub-categories this would require, as well as FX that are too weird to fit into any common category. I'll think about this some more.

Others are asking for an Open Source flag. I already have a "Free" flag in the search, so I don't see any value in this. Not all of the Free software is open source, but most of it is.

I noticed that many of these plugins are also now available in CLAP format, but appear to have not yet been added to this CLAP Audio Software Database

Is it generally, by request of the developers themselves, rather than just anybody bringing unlisted CLAP plugins to attention?

It seems the list is more focused on obscure (alpha/beta projects, Github repositories, etc.) developments. E.g. Bitwig, MultitrackStudio and Reaper are also missing, even though the list doesn't include any other fully featured DAW. Looking at the list, one could get the impression that you can't really do much yet with Clap plugins (because of missing host support), which isn't the case.

Everybody can. That's what this thread is for.

If you refer to the "list" on the front page, it is merely focussed on "recent" additions.

Bitwig Studio etc. are simply listed under "Hosts/DAWs" here:

Yes, I looked over this list, and I have some of them in the DB, but most of them are toys/tech demos or require you to build them yourself. I'd like to keep the list focused on finished and accessible plugins.

I added some verbage regarding the version numbers and the "recent" list. I still have people submitting corrections because I don't have the most current version on the site.

That is fair. Thank you for checking.

What distro are you using? Also, do you have XWayland installed? If you do, then you should be able to have 100% X.org compatibility while running directly under Wayland.
