THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Sounds really good, with super low latency. It basically does the DigiTech Whammy thing.
Now that this is out, maybe we can get those Audiority flangers (BF-2 & MXR)? :D

lol that was fast :D I planned to make a post and a KVR db update on Monday.
MXR is way overdue! For the BF-2, i'll try to score a MIJ one on September.

Cheers,

I’ve been playing with HyperTune a bit over the past few days. I think it sounds really good and it’s quite playable in real time.

I’ve been using a foot controller to bend the pitch like a DigiTech Whammy. I would like to set the pitch bend range, but I’m not sure if that’s possible. Is it?

It seems to really be useful, that’s something it absolutely needs.

True. I'll add a CC Relative entry in the MIDI Mapper soon

Thanks! How will that work?
I'm thinking something like separate minimum and maximum detune settings, so you could, for example, set the range to bend from -24 min to 0 max for 2-octave dive bombs, or set from 0 min to 7 max to bend up a 5th.

Also, the range needs to be able to be inverted, to be able to do something like set the min to 0 and the max to -24, so you can have your foot pedal all the way back for an unaffected sound, and then pitch bend down more, the more you step down on the pedal. That's how a Whammy pedal works, and it's what feels natural.

I just want to know what camera that guy is using.

btw, is it worth paying the extra $39 and getting the whole McRocklin Suite?

If you get McRocklin Suite first you get a loyalty discount for Hypertune.

The website says "Now including HyperTune". Is that a different version from the standalone? If so, can it be used standalone (ie everything else bypassed)?

Post

Yes it is different Hypertune is standalone -/+24 notes and has a blend mix.

I got an email saying HyperTune has been updated. But it’s not specific. What do the release notes say?

Has CC Relative entry been added?

Not yet.

FYI: Change logs are posted in the support area.

That's pretty impressive. I must say the McRocklin suite has passed me by but I'm gonna have to demo Hypertune.

Luca, would that setting be per instance, or global?
I think it will need to be set (and saved) in each instance.

Any idea when this update is coming?
I'm waiting on it to buy. Right now it's too difficult to control it with a foot pedal to be useful.

Also, am I correct in assuming the CC Relative entry will let the user set the full range to something like [-7 to +2] or [0 to -12] (for a pitch dive as the pedal is pushed) or any range ±24 min/max?
