GROSS BEAT (Shaperbox) - 1/2 Speed aka Halfspeed possible to smooth the effect?

hi guys,
i have this effect on master at one part of my track to have the whole track at halfspeed but it goes about 1 minute or so, sadly gross beat seems to introduce too many abrupt resets, is there a way to blend this/smooth this effect? or is there an alternative?
Shaperbox 2 seems to be nearly identical.

Shaperbox's Time module might indeed, but have you tried Halftime?

You can do it manually. Gross beat as far as I now plays the input at half speed, but to keep the tempo it skips every 2nd time tick. So if you want manual half time, just render out the part, stretch it by x2 aka double it's length, which drops it's pitch by 1 octave. Now keep the parts you want and smooth how you want. You can also just pitch the part down 1 octave without stretching it, which keeps the timing but loses the "gross beat" effect. Play around and try out.

Adjust your Release and Tension (at least I think that's what TNS stands for.) Also if you click around there's a menu hidden that has more parameters on it.
