Good point. Assuming it's running internally at 96kHz they'd be doing up/downsampling to match the DAW. Not sure, maybe its just the JFET preamps, or those interacting with the DSP.
Its subtle anyhow and to be fair, I have read the exact opposite regarding the Big Sky plugin being favored by someone who didnt like the Pedals converters and preferred his High End ones together with the Plugin.
