In case this helps someone with the same problem:

On my Windows Desktop, I had Triaz crashing on me frequently and randomly, while the issue didn't appear with my Laptop. In the end, I could narrow down the source of the problem: It was caused by the option "Auto Select". If I disable it, Triaz runs fine. I've reported this back to WA. When I originally reported this, they couldn't reproduce the issue, so maybe it was something special to my setup.

In addition, by creating an account I got 5 GBP inserted into their virtual wallet. I would imagine it’s stackable, as coupons and the virtual money seem like they are two different concepts.

Despite my gripe with Triaz not hitting midi notes (still to be investigated more, as suggested by feedback here), I decided to go for it. I like the idea behind the product and people have mentioned the developer very positively here, which gives me hope for good support in trying to find a solution (once they get to my support request, that is ).

I would love to be able to disable Master FX like noise globally across all TRIAZ presets if possible. I find that, especially in the DRIFT update, that a lot of the presets have noise added in the Master FX, and I'd much rather have the choice to remove it altogether so when I switch presets, it doesn't show up again.

Right Click on Master Effects and click lock Master Effects or Send Effects. You can bypass all effects as well and then lock them

It’s easy to miss for sure. I have a habit of right clicking everything on the computer and I think I read most of the manual or at least some of it

Can't import my sample in easy mode. For some reason I must copy my samples in the dedicated folder. I have over 100gb of samples, this is a mess. Other program allow me to use the original destination, more easy and pratical.
When I clear all drum set to use my samples, the random button don't work. Need to select one by one channel and load a sample for use the random button. With this operations, sometimes, the program freeze and need a reboot.
Sequencer look great, but with strange sounds, it can't do nothing musically right.

exactly, and it is bad in my opinion you have that option still not present. i got maybe 1 TB drum samples from all bundles, sales etc. i wont copy it just for this vst . strange that wave alchemy got kinda silent here?

Yes, they are different. Unfortunately I am away from my computer for another week so I can’t provide detailed information, but in general you set soft links via terminal commands. On Mac it is “ln -s” and for Windows something similar exists.

is there any way to reduce the size of the font in the preset browser?

if i play any preset using the play triangle on the preset name row, then click the play triangle again to stop, playback stops but the browser then jumps to the preset Working Hands, regardless of sorting the browser by name, BPM etc
Is this a bug or just some demo limitation?

i have Host Sync unselected yet there doesn't seem to be any option to preview the selected preset at its native tempo?

The genre shortcuts/tags at the top of the browser - can we adjust these or add our own?
the Playlist feature will be useful.

I must say, i've been using only synths to make 99% my drums for about 20 years now, upon trying the Triaz demo i am quite convinced i will be returning (at least in part) to my sample based roots soon. Yay needing bigger hard drive :\ Triaz feels fun to use. It is expensive though. Even at the recent sale price. Unfortunately i've just missed it anyway. I'm hoping there might be a bigger discount someday soon.



Also i should ask, will their bass synth kontakt instrument be getting a native plugin also?
It sounds amazing, but can't stand Kontakt instruments.

Once a parameter is linked to one of the 64 automation slots it appears to be locked from any kind of GUI control.

I can automate it with a DAW automation lane, but i can't move it on the Triaz GUI, which is kind of frustrating.

I get the intent is that it's modulation will come from the DAW automation lane. However, other products with loads of parameters like Omnisphere (where they called it enable host automation) don't lock the control in the GUI when automated. There is two way feedback between the GUI and the DAW. So you can still play around with the parameter in the GUI even though it is automated / or enabled for automation.

Additionally, (in Bitwig) when I click on a parameter in a VST GUI, the relevant lane appears for me to edit automation in the DAW (even in Omnisphere where you assign certain parameters to host automation like in Triaz). Triaz does not seem to communicate with the DAW in this way (at least in Bitwig). So, I have to right click on the parameter in the GUI to see what automation number it is assigned to and then manually select it from the list of Triaz automation parameters to automate.

Is there any chance Triaz might be able to improve this interaction? ... please!
