how many assignments does the MIDI Learn Table accept

Hi and Hello,

I would be interested to know how many assignments the MIDI Learn Table of Spire can accept....? 128 on "all channels"? I mean, can the MIDI learn also assign incoming commands from different MIDI channels, because then it would be 16x128 assignments.
So, I have my doubts and 128 are used up quickly.

It would be awesome if you could remotely control and switch between the individual views, such as DEL and REV or Env1 and LFO2. ...hm, I've became old and rosty...

Unfortunately, it appears that most MIDI learn enabled plug-ins cannot handle more than 128 incoming MIDI CCs. Apparently they cannot distinguish the incoming CCs on different channels. No matter what channel you send the CCs on, it makes no difference whether (as an example) you trigger CC-23 on channel 5 or on channel 12. This means that no more than 128 assignments are possible per plugin.

I have now tested the setup with FL Studio, and lo and behold - the problem is probably due to the Cakewalk/Sonar DAW. In FL Studio I can control different parameters with CC20 and CC21 on channel 9 than on channel 10 without any problems. I can't tell anyone how much crap I've experienced with this DAW... s orry, for nerving

CC 20 and CC 21 on Channel 10 -- assign to OSC 1 and OSC 2
CC 20 and CC 21 on Channel 9 -- assign to OSC 3 and OSC 4

2 MIDI-CCs control 4 different PlugIn-Parameters - great job FL Studio and BC-Remote!!
