Hello,
I have read that multichannel support is on the roadmap.
Do you have any idea of when it will be possible, and also perhaps what formats or number of channels it will allow ?

Hey, I've been working on it recently and hopefully I should be able to add the feature in the next couple of months. It's been tricky for me to test as I only have four speakers. I've managed to get it to work, but then the next thing I need to work out is how to integrate this into the audio output recording.

As for formats, I think it can be pretty flexible really - what kind of formats would you be interested in?

It might be worthwhile to be able to export the 3D motion paths as C3D as, for the various 3D audio motion applications I have, this seems to be the standard (so, for instance, if you need to correlate motion between audiocube and some other generated 3D audio) but also because it seems to be what 3D animators and the like use, making your app move valuable to them. Certainly if I was doing sound design for a video scene the first thing I'd grab now is audiocube after having watched your ambient sound video on YouTube the other day.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of this but I could see it being useful for some people.
Currently the motion data is stored as lists of XYZ coordinates through a series of frames. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to convert this into whatever system C3D uses. I'll look into it!

Thanks for the suggestion, they're always welcome!

Also I released the core sound library download today (it's free)

Thanks.
The ideal would be DBAP free positionning since it would allow to support everything while sharing the same concept as you have already implemented.
I suppose also that a few "Atmos like" presets will please most of users ;-)
