I dug out my old Korg X5DR sound module but it doesn't play the combination sounds, only programs

I'm a bit baffled that the combinations don't play at all, even the small red led that shows
midi activity doesn't light up when I'm in the combination mode.

Found the PDF manual from https://www.libble.eu/korg-x5dr/online-manual-29012/ (https://www.libble.eu/korg-x5dr/online-manual-29012/) but couldn't find the fix there either.

If somebody would remember what the problem could be I'd be very happy.

Best regards,

Aki

Oh wow. I found out that each program in a combination has its own midi channel defined. After I changed that to 3 that I set the device on, the combinations started working. But I guess I'm not changing the midi channel for every combination unless I can find some librarian that can do it all in one go.

Best regards,

Aki

Hello everyone, I had the same issue with my X5DR. I discovered that the problem was that my daughter was playing with the midi controller and accidentally changed the midi channel of the controller, the problem was not with the rack. I hope this helps anyone in need.
