Does your plugin have an atomistic update checker built in? If not, please consider this feature in future update.

Hi Jan,

after a small break, I've been using the beta version in Renoise and unfortunately some mischievous gnomes have appeared again.

1. When entering the name of a KickDrum preset, Renoise keyboard shortcuts continue to work. For example:

Space: Start/Stop playing.
Enter: Only play the line that the cursor is on (play step by step).
Right Alt: Start playing and looping the current pattern.
Right Ctrl: Start playing the song.
Right Shift: Start playing the song with Edit Mode enabled.
Escape: Toggle Edit Mode.
Numpad Enter: Activate Block Loop and start playing.

Just like in the manual
https://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Keyboard_Shortcuts

2. Trying to change the sample directory crashes Renoise. Dragging the sample from the windows explorer directory works fine.

And now for something completely different.
The additional oscillator has the lowest frequency of 88.9Hz (F#2 -50). Why?

Renoise is not my main DAW, so I am not an expert in it. It does great in some things and for other tasks I use another DAW. At first I thought everything was working fine, by which I may have misled you.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hey, thank you for reporting! I could reproduce the renaming issue in Renoise, it's on the list now. The issue with selecting folders is fixed now in the next build.
It's just, that when you add a new oscillator its default setting is a straight sine at F#2 -50 - move the start and end nodes to adjust.

Thanks for the osc tuning info, I overlooked this setting.

Hello Everyone,

After a longer summer break and weeks coding I'd like to inform you that there's a new update online for KickDrum. The Highlights are the new Saturator Device, the new Sample analyze function which turns a kick sample into a device chain (OSC/EQ/ENV + SAMPLE/EQ), the new node smoothing feature which allows to smooth the curve connection happening at a node or multiple nodes, and the option to edit any bezier curve in log scale now:

https://audija.com/changelog/1

Thank you so much for your ideas, feedback and bug reports, that helped to bring it to this point! the next steps are a Clipper Device and further refining of what's already there, moving closer to the full release. Thank you for taking part in this!💜

Screwed installer, uninstalls old Beta, new installer doesn´t appear in Bitwig 5.2 Win10
6.1 Beta of Kickdrum works fine.

Thank you for the report! can you check after installation of BETA 7 if the .vst3 file is in the Common Files/VST3/Audija/KickDrum BETA folder and if so, could you start Bitwig and drag the .vst3 from the windows explorer onto a track in bitwig (bitwig has this unique ability that we can drag and drop plugins into it) - that way we would gain some insight of where it might be failing. Could you get back to me on this via email, please (hello@audija.com)

Great evolution of the program Jan, thank you.
I am surprised by the sounds created with it, it goes far beyond simple kick.
peace and love for all.

Hi Jan,

you got it solved with the latest Beta

This plug-in is new for me, and I can already see why there has been so much positive buzz about it online. It’s pretty slick for a Beta, and it’s encouraging to see so many user suggestions being implemented.

That’s a fantastic way to collaborate for ideas. It also builds a sense of community that’s incredibly lacking with much bigger software companies. This is fun and quick to use. And all of these sculpting possibilities will keep my kick drum OCD at bay...for a while at least.

just bought this, based on the positive response here and the features i'm seeing being implemented in the beta. before i install - can v1 and v2 beta be installed simultaneously or does the beta overwrite v1 ?
cheers
