Just tested this, really liking the sound of it. It's a M/S transient exciter/expander/saturator, with cross-channel processing.

Manual would be very helpful!
Already used it on a project I was suffering with for some time. On a drum bus it made a miracle, glueing the sht out of what I couldnt glue manually. Had to use presets and mangle them blindly a bit, hence why I'd love manual to understand what it does. Nevertheless sounds amazing!

I'm reluctant to add more plugins to my already quite large list, but this one instantly goes on it. It's really unique and the way it glues the mix is spectacular.

Thanks a lot! Trust me I spent more time looking for it than I'd like to admit now. No idea why I didn't see it.planet_b wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2024 11:10 am https://varietyofdocs.wordpress.com/feenstaubtx-manual/

Being honest, I did read it - but skipped through the adress, because I thought it just leads to his main website.planet_b wrote: Tue Sep 10, 2024 12:50 pm Well, there's a readme file in the main download file.. but who reads those![]()
Nevertheless, thanks guys for the heads up.
Id like to get back on topic, since there is something subtle but amazing about VoS plugins that Id say is the ingredient that makr things sound the way people always describe with word "analog".
A cherry on top of a good mix/good sounding track/bus. Not any magical tool to make sht material sound good, but the one that make a good one sound great.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

I still don't know how to dial it in but what the presets do is so cool that even for that I use it on almost every project. Shines on transient heavy material. Sounds so good.

I checked what Feenstaub means and it's pixie dust. Indeed, it adds some magic, very interesting plugin. I hate adding new plugins to my folder. I have just managed to minimize it drastically, well, you can always make some exceptions...
