The same 2 measures from Moonlight Sonata:
RapidComposer:

Guitar Pro:

PS: I think I'll be able to export the score in the first stave and tab in the second.

Is this update already out or do we have to wait some more time?musicdevelopments wrote: Fri Sep 13, 2024 4:35 pm I was happy to see that RapidComposer made a more guitarist-friendly fingering than Guitar Pro did.

Hello lulukom, lulukom wrote: Fri Sep 13, 2024 6:07 pm Hello everyone. I haven't opened RC for a long time. And now I decided to install 5.3 v . And it seems that Attila announced support for audio-in-midi for Mac OS 13. But it doesn't work for me and even audio doesn't drag to the track. Does anyone know? Thanks.
No, the fixes are not yet available. I am testing the update during the weekend, so that v5.3.1 can be uploaded on Monday.rockbandguy wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2024 3:36 am Is this update already out or do we have to wait some more time?
I really wanna try out the updated GP compatibility.
EDIT: correcting myself: TablEdit can also find optimized fingerings.rockbandguy wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2024 3:36 am P.S. GP does not really care about fingering when I import something from MIDI. It is missing the very features RC tries to bring to the table with this release. TableEdit (https://tabledit.com/download/index.shtml) is the very program that is able to do it.
Hi BluGenes,BluGenes wrote: Fri Sep 13, 2024 11:25 am So, now you have a bunch of cool midi in RC and discover that if you copy anything into a new track, you lose the locked range for the key switches, meaning, if you move the midi up or down, the key switches change too.
The problem is, logically this should belong to the articulation. So, somehow the notes in the key-switch range should be converted to an articulation, so they cease to be just plain notes.BluGenes wrote: Fri Sep 13, 2024 11:25 amSo, this is the problem I see.. what is the best solution here? Maybe a range in settings, like always use the range upper A6 and up, and lower C2 and lower as always a key switch range? Range per track? Of course you would to use a check box style on or off as well.. hehe, looks like a new filter in code there bud..
You mean a range of chords from the timeline? If so, just select the chords in the time line..sj1 wrote: Thu Sep 19, 2024 12:17 pm Hi. I think I need a reminder -
I can drag out a .mid file of the MT chords by initiating a Ctrl-drag on the title of the Master Track. IOW, on the literal text 'Master Track'.
Is there some similar way to select a subset of chords and drag out a .mid file containing them?
Thanks!

Just click on anything but the master track to close the popup.. then again, drag from the mater track name ..
