Hi,
I'm messing with Reaper and just learned how to make sub projects.
Is there a way to call back a sub project to its original project ? For now the only way I found is to create a track template with the sub project and import that template.
But I would like sometime more direct.
Thanx

Usually a double click on the sub project item itself opens the original. Then, If you make changes and save it renders the the result to the item you double clicked on.....
Not completely sure that helps.

Yeah, I know that. The thing is that this way you only hear the sub project part when you make your adjustments and I would like to make those adjustments in the context of the whole project.Scrubbing Monkeys wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 12:12 pm Usually a double click on the sub project item itself opens the original. So I would like to be able to bring the original tracks to the main project....

Ah....got it now. I can see where that would be useful. There has t be a way. That was really the idea behind sub projects I believe.....to use with sound design. I am using sub projects alot lately but in a different way. Ill look into it.Jolaff wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 12:19 pmYeah, I know that. Look into ...syncronizing subprojects. This sounds like it will allow master and sub to play simultaneously allowing for real time edit of the sub.
