yes,
i've taken the plunge and the only thing i've run into so far is a bug in the firewall which disabled Firefox. (nothing sus, a rival to Safari is blocked) A quick trip to terminal fixed that and it seems to be running fine. I'll be running a more in depth plugin check this evening. It's like going from Ventura to Sonoma for me, fairly transparent. Barely notice a difference. I think it's the first time i've ever installed a .0 release.

jamcat wrote: Tue Sep 17, 2024 12:35 am My first question was if Rosetta 2 was still supported. Here's the answer (according to Wikipedia):

"In macOS Sequoia, Rosetta 2 has been updated to support translating AVX2 instructions from Intel processors" :o

So not only is it still supported, they've addressed its biggest shortcoming.

update, ok not a 'driver' thing but i'm too lazy to make an official Sequoia thread...
my Synapse plugins, Dune 3, Obsession and the Legend all needed to be re-downloaded from my account, re-installed and re-authorised.
no major drama, just thought i'd leave this here.
