Tell you what is just great- Session Percussion. So many options but also so easy to use. Spent the afternoon banging out nice loops, running through Specops and Infiltrator2 for some ear candy. But perfect for custom background hammering.

It is fantastic. Session Percussionist and Icon Bass were 2 products I couldn’t wait for so I bought them last year already. There’s still plenty of stuff for me to upgrade my Komplete 14 CE for and I guess I could sell the seperate licenses. Then again I am someone they cater to as a rap/hiphop/funk/r&b producer. I’m looking forward to stuff like Alicia’s Elektrik Keys, Diamond & Phoenix, Rudiments, Karriem Riggins Drums, Acoustic Sunburst, Bouquet, Glaze 2, Bazzazian Tapes and much more.

Getting ready to "likely" buy Komplete 15 Standard for $199.
Is it offered for less anywhere?
Will is be offer for less on Black Friday?

Another utterly brilliant Kontakt library is Stradivari Cello. So emotional and haunting...

Strangely enough, that's the only "new" instrument that I'm interested in.
It's not enough for me to upgrade to K15U instantly though. I will probably wait for a sale.

[Edit] Cheaper if you are updating. But if you are buying outright or upgrading, grab on to that price now, perhaps buy 2 of them incase 1 makes you sick

In short, Kontakt now allows the new library look (rectangular pictures) in the sidebar, combining both pre-7 and 7 library looks together.

There are 6 new library categories: Instruments, Combined (presets for multiple instruments + new tools), Tools (Chords and Phrases), Leap (new sampler engine), Loops (which are part of the NI expansions), One-shots (also part of the NI expansions).

Yeh, 6 and 7 were both very disappointing so we were due some actual new features. Certainly not enough to upgrade Komplete for me, but I will update Kontakt when he 50% off sale comes around.

I am surprised with the features to be honest.

Leap looks fine and direct competitor to Arcade, it's important if they keep it alive with free and paid packs.
Phrases tool looks fun to use. Browser looks okay but need to try to be sure.

Maybe it's worth updating kontakt only when it's on sale.

By the way, will the new Kontakt be compatible with the old projects that use Kontakt 7?

Hmm.. what a complete mess this new Native Access is. Anybody else missing the Izotope Ozone 10 standard? I own Komplete 14 Ultimate and there is no sign of the Ozone install anywhere.

EDIT: Oops, I thought I was in the other NI thread. Sorry for the off topic. I'll still leave the question here just in case somebody has the same issue. Please PM me if you have a possible solution. And yes, I have contacted support but it's still not resolved.

EDIT2: Wow, it finally appeared when I forgot NI Access running in the background for about 2 hours. Guess the servers are just hammered.

EDIT3: .. and the download fails.

EDIT4: Restarted computer after disabling iCloud Private Relay thingy (as per NI support article) and now the whole product is missing again. Sigh..

Great work NI. What a wonderful piece of brilliant coding. You should be proud.

I'm getting the download failed message in Native Access ( latest version ). I'm assuming they waited to upload to their servers, until the last moment. Has anyone got K15 yet ?

Anyone know how to get Kontakt 8 to scan the libraries again cause mine only goes up till L. I can’t find anything after L with search either.

Edit: looks like you have to re-scan in Komplete Kontrol this will take a while.

Edit2: doesn't seem to be working. How do I get Kontakt 8 to rescan to show all libraries

Edit3: when I switch to classic view all libraries are in the left pane but I still can't see them in the new browser.

Edit4: I think I'm gonna have to re-install all the libraries that don't show up.
