You know there's a whole bunch of buttons right above the waveform display in Media Bay that do stuff. Like turning off aligning the beats to tempo and the auto playback..
I know that I never started using media bay when it was introduced to cubase. Like I said, I should probably use that for quickly auditioning breaks. Especially if they can be auditioned through a channel's fx chain.

There hasn't been any changes to anything yet. W're assuming this is all coming when/if the next update or version comes out. Hasn't been anything since 1.0.2.

And?
They chose the price.
Paying customers pay it.
It will get cracked.
So C/R punsihes who?
1 It punished the developer because they wasted their time and lose customers who are fed up with C/R, and especially (rightfully) are sensitive to new tiny developers with no real verifiable background.
2 It punishes customers who do buy, especially if the company goes belly up.
Both of those should be way way more demoralising for said developer than being cracked, which will happen regardless, and if they can't handle that, move along, development is not for you.
That may sound very harsh, but actually is just the reality of the wonderful world of scumbags that we live.

Ok thanks!

To the developer would it be possible to do a FX plug-in with the same kind of processing the Instrument offers ? I’d love to be able to monitor , but not sure if that’s doable ?

Ca copy protection whiners have a siloed thread for moaning?

If copy protection on a plugin is a dealbreaker for you, cool! Don’t buy it. Since you’re not going to buy it you won’t have much to say about the product. No one needs to see “iLok ewwwwwww” again or the nonstop complaining here.

Maybe you don't need to see it.
If i see a chance the devs might reconsider i will make my opinion known when there is a general thread for a product that i am otherwise very interested in.
Usually that is not the case so i don't bother.
Surely mods can step in if it gets to much, but i would say if people who dont care about copy protection simply ignore these posts there wouldn't be much discussion about it and distracting from other aspects of the product.

Stating why you don't want to buy a plugin is a valid comment, this isn't a hugbox where only positives are allowed after all.

That said, I do agree that it's annoying when a thread on a new release devolves into just talk about the copy protection.

But it's an entirely different case when it's about a plugin changing it's copy protection, and people who bought it are voicing concerns or dissatisfaction. In that case, it's quite literally not a case of "you’re not going to buy", it's customer feedback.

Yeah except, people didnt even wait to see what they actually came up with before the 'THE SKY IS FALLING' posts started coming up and everyone started whining.

Hi Everyone,
Its been a while,
The update is right around the corner and I'm excited for everyone to get their hands on the new features.
I see people are still anxious about the copy protection I've prepared for the update.

My stance is this
- I have tried my best to make the copy protection as unobtrusive and forgiving as possible.
- If someone cracks the update soon, I will most likely release an update removing the protection.
- If PotenzaDSP ever stops existing, I will open source the Amigo codebase.

Hope everyone enjoys the update :)

Quick question, I have Amigo and have only just started to use it.

I grabbed the ST-XX folder from https://archive.org/details/mirage4amiga , I'm just checking that these are just the Mirage files and nothing else? The link doesn't seem to work anymore and the text file with that folder doesn't say.

hmm, seems these won't load after all as they are .asd not .8svx or .raw files. Still it would be helpful to know if the library is Mirage only as I could use the .wavs

Where is my Update. :?

In your user area :tu:

Changelog:

Serial Verification.
You now have to authorise your computer to use Amigo. Simply enter the serial number listed under 'my account'

File browser
A new internal file browser lets you preview and load samples from inside Amigo.

EMBED button
The embed button saves the sample file into the project state, so you can send project files to friends without losing samples.

Modulation section.
The new MOD section allows for two types of modulation and two type of lfo: Vibrato or Tremolo, along with Square or Triangle waves.

Sample rate improvements
Amigo now loads samples in chunks, making it feel smoother when changing sample-rates.

Equal slicing
New Auto Slice feature allows you to split up the sample into equally divided slices.

Phase bugs
The phase effect would sometimes cause some clicking/popping, this is now fixed.

More sophisticated Config file (see manual for details)

Slice looping
Slices can now be looped using the loop controls.
(side note, slice mode is still monophonic only!)

I *think* (was a long time since I grabbed) these were actually samples *of* the Mirage synth in Amiga format. The archive you're wanting (once archive.org is back up in action after the stupid hackers took it down) is - https://archive.org/details/AmigaSTXX
