How come there's no discount on Kontakt itself?

It's 299 even though I own 7 and Komplete 14. Komplete 15 Standard is 199 but I'm not interested in the libraries.

Make it make sense.

Edit: I see the update price (99) if I add it to the cart.

i wont update at this price, im gonna wait till next summer of sound if i update at all. only think which interests me is if Kontakt 8 is now loading fast as kontakt 5?

chords etc. is all nice and great tools but i am still not hyped anymore especially LEAP, is music made nowadays with looping and quantizing and adding effects only?

Initial load time of K8 is much faster than K7 on my W11 system, and actually a little faster than K6 too.

I purchased the Standard upgrade, was perfect for me. According to the Komplete Comparison page under Legendary synthesizers bx_oberhausen is part of Komplete 15 Standard. However I can't find it after installing Native Access. Am I missing something?

I think I went through this with Komplete 14 I believe you have to do something seperate and make an account with plugin alliance.

thanks a lot! seems to be on the right way then, im sorry, only if you got time! is Guitar Rig 7 also faster ? i tend to use the old versions too cause GR6 is so annoyingly slow...

Reaktor development is on hold right now, as NI already said in a forum. So I don't have big hopes that will see Reaktor 7

Kontakt 8 Player is way more powerful now as it hosts the full Leap looper engine

Thanks for your reply, you are 100% correct: I just had an email from Native Instruments telling me how to get bx_oberhausen from Plugin Alliance.

Really impressed with the Update Thanks NI , I’ve been waiting for a tool like LEAP for a really long time. I’m sure I will use it differently from others. My only feature request is to be able to copy and paste keys !!
And Zoom in and out

Crazy that they locked such a needed performance fix behind an upgrade. I really feel underwhelmed by what they delivered with the K7 purchase and am not paying again just to get basic usability back.
