Cableguys Support is kinda meh? example inside!

woah guys, i always thought highly of Cableguys until recently getting in touch with them.

first they kinda always rejected how Gross Beat is similiar to Shaperbox/Halftime (Gross Beats' 1/2 speed preset vs Halftime/Timeshaper) where I was asking myself what this strange reply is about and if they directly try to ignore my statements and comparisons.

second I sent them audio examples where you clearly hear stuttering produced by Halftime, and they couldnt hear it, where i was thinking if they didnt listen to it or something is wrong with their ears? i found the issue myself here.

third after they told me to use shaperbox instead of Halftime for my issue i (yes you can read the manual i understand this but seems i overlook(ed) it or am stupid, point) and after asking back where i find the control/what can help my issue, i got something like "read the manual".

well in the end, they didnt help at all and i just learned to kinda not spend my money with them anymore if possible

i know they are active here as well!

I guess they're just tired of you. I've worked with people before and I understand that this is not a big deal for a boutique company. I'm sure they weren't rude to you, they offered a solution, but they didn't coddle you like a preschooler.

my experiences with Support from other companies were much much better, only where i complain.
oh and Spectrasonics i got news, they got so much into detail we sorted out a lot of projects which i will share soon. this is how you do it! boom.

With the exception of maybe the stutter (but not sure), all your problems are regarding how to properly use the product. Something the manual is for.

Support is not here to help you use the products, but to fix issues you have.

Very weird way to look at customer support. Of course if a customer needs help with anything related to your product, you are supposed to help him. Otherwise your customer support is shit.

Not saying this is the case here because we only heard one side. Sometimes you do your best to help and the customer is still not satisfied

You might want to revisit what you consider 'support' as this is not that.
