This appears to be a known issue in Logic. According to the dev's github page:

"This is a know issue with 0.9.7 and AU validation ; please use the latest build: https://github.com/asb2m10/dexed/action ... 0239126765"

Unfortunately, I don't speak github, and couldn't actually find any plug-ins to download on the page he links to. There only appears to be yet more links to MacOS, Windows and Linux versions, but there are no files at all to download that I could see. Just some "artifacts" listing byte sizes for files, but no links. Maybe you'll have better luck.

'macos-bin' is the file you need. It is zip archive. Inside it you'll find AU, CLAP, VST3 and standalone.

'macos-bin' is the file you need. It is zip archive. Inside it you'll find AU, CLAP, VST3 and standalone.
Can you download any of those? I can't; they're not even links.

Interesting! I don't have download links in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Opera. They're not hidden, either; selecting the whole area doesn't highlight anything.

Thanks, but I’ve never needed to log in to GitHub in the past just to download files. I don’t even have an account. In theory, if the page actually exists, I should be actively prompted to log in to get access to it, shouldn’t I? (I’m talking about an inescapable “SIGN IN!” Link/button to get the site visitor on their way.) I can’t think of another site that throws up a “404” error instead of prompting the user to SIMPLY log in to get access to that page.

The “404” error says “that page isn’t here”. It doesn’t say “that page is behind a door; we’ll bring you to it and you can log in”.

But I’ll just add that to the list of things I don’t like about GitHub. Though I appreciate the help here, and the developers who offer their plug-ins for free. It’s not too difficult to get around, though it could be easier in some areas. But I get it overall. So thanks, All!

I joined Github just to get the file but it wasn't an installation file. It just said component. Weird. I also downloaded the Dexed 0.9.7 file lobanov linked above, it also crashed validation.

have you tried older versions, like for example 0.9.4 ?

can be downloaded without being logged in...
