I really love Harmony Bloom, but this feels a bit weird:

- The new presets did not show up in my downloads, so finally I found them under "Support" on the website. Not sure why they aren't just part of the regular installer?

- Before that, I was searching my C: drive for the preset location and just couldn't find it anywhere.
Finally by accident I found out that they are in the "Music" folder of all things! Which I have on an external drive...
May I suggest to move them to the Documents folder where they belong? Presets are NOT music and I do not care to have random files in my music collection.
Please?

Thanks and Cheers :tu: :tu: :tu:

Feel like I must be missing something. Routed it in Ableton from one track to the next, works when HB is on but when I bypass it in Ableton, no midi passes through. Have to use bypass inside the program for midi to pass through. But there is no way to midi map that bypass inside the program. Is there no way to midi map bypass in Ableton and have midi pass through?

Hi Everyone!

Here are some points I'd like to address:

Linux:
Harmony Bloom does not work on Linux, and using Wine can be hit or miss based on my experience. If it hasn't worked for you, the only reliable way to use it might be through Windows, Mac, or iOS.

Ableton 12:
Regarding the mentioned crash, thank you for the information. If you're experiencing this issue, please reach out to me at mario@marionietoworld.com. We'll run some tests to try and pinpoint the problem.

Load Presets:
To load presets, follow this guide in FAQ - How to load Harmony Bloom Expansion Pack V1: https://marionietoworld.com/index.php/support/

There have been some issues related to this, which I'm addressing in the new version 1.3.0.

If you encounter problems loading presets, try doing it directly from the standalone version. If you copied the folder directly to the destination without dragging and dropping it onto Harmony Bloom, and you’re having trouble loading presets, you should go to the Harmony Bloom presets folder. On Windows: C:\Users\Username\Music\Mario Nieto\Harmony Bloom\Presets, on Mac: /Users/username/Music/Mario Nieto/Harmony Bloom/Presets, and delete the "Harmony Bloom Expansion Pack V1" folder if it's there. Then, reload the presets as shown in the video. Additionally, depending on how you loaded the presets, you might end up with duplicate presets from the "Expansion Pack." In that case, delete the duplicate presets.

Presets Folder:
Currently, the presets folder is static. I plan to add an option to select a desired folder for saving presets; this is on my to-do list.

Bypass Midi Learn:
I've noted this and will see what can be done.

Lastly, Today, I will be making live music with the upcoming development version of Harmony Bloom. Here, you will be able to see the new features of version 1.3.0 in real-time. Although I don't have a release date yet, as I'm working on several projects simultaneously, I aim to release it in a few weeks.

Any estimate as to when the next release will happen?

I haven't used Harmony Bloom in a while, but I'm encountering significant CPU spikes, effectively crippling my cpu. I'm currently running version 1.2.9 on the latest release of Bitwig Studio, under Windows 11. These performance issues are new for me, I didn't experience them with earlier versions.

I bought Bloom from Audio Plugin Deals and there, the version to download is still 1.2.7. Will this be updated to 1.3.0 or is there a way to download it directly from your site?

Post

Starting with version 1.2.7, Harmony Bloom automatically detects when a new version is available, and the plugin itself will offer the option to download the new installer directly.

n case that doesn't happen or you don't get the message, you should create an account at www.marionietoworld.com. Once you've created it, send me your serial number and let me know which email you used to register at mario@marionietoworld.com. I’ll attach your serial to your account, and you’ll have access to the new versions.

This worked, thank you! Just starting the plugin, then going in to the options menu allowed to check for updates and download.

Hi Mario, quick question about the 1.3.1 installation:

Do we need to install the Harmony Bloom Expansion Pack V1 manually or did that get handled by the installer?

In case he doesn't answer, you can look at the names of the presets in the expansion pack and see if they already show up in the preset menu. I'd check, but I already installed the expansion pack in 1.3.0.

Thanks! They needed to be imported.

Oh wow, this looks exactly like Chordjam, but without the sequencer, which I never use. Unfortunately, Audiomodern overlooked the most crucial feature in Chordjam: the ability to use and play your own chords. In other words, I play some chords or play back a chord progression MIDI file sitting on my track, and Chordjam generates the velocity, inversions, timing, delay, or any other adjustable settings you can choose from the interface. It's so frustrating that while you can click and select chords and scales from a list, the software doesn't recognize chords played on the keyboard! If this new plugin from Mario allows live chord input, I will buy it instantly. Otherwise, it's just another version of Chordjam or am I missing something?

He said that what makes it different from other chord generators is the ability to re-trigger.
