Damn it, but this synth sounds amazing. Demoing it and just fat, lush, characterful, all the synth superlatives, dare I say creamy even Do I need it already owning Monark and the Arturia one...yes, I do. Made this juicy, rich bassline pluck. Just beautiful. Sounds better than Diva even (gasps ).

Yes, they do a Black Friday sale, though IDK if the discount on The Legend HZ will be smaller because it's relatively new.

To clarify, The Legend HZ is $179 ($258 AUD) and UVI Falcon lists at $349 ($504 AUD) so not "almost the same".

I imagine part of the price of Legend HZ has to do with Hans Zimmer's involvement.

I thought R.E. is a dead format now that Reason can load VST plugins but I guess not.

The original The Legend was on sale for $79 in December. I believe the regular price for it was $99 at the time, so that was 20%. The biggest sale I know of was when it was 50% in August of 2023 but I don't expect that to happen again any time soon, particularly not on The Legend HZ.

Not really - I don't use plugins in Reason, they are just not well integrated compared to RE

I paid $199 for Falcon on sale but you're right generally it goes for a lot more than The Legend. I was just comparing my own expenditure...

Diva is more varied, buuut...big but, Legion HZ in my opinion has a bit more punch to it. It can whack a KO fast, but the Diva can hold it's own in the long run. It's a hard question to give an unbiased answer to. It's minimoog on a load of steroids vs DNA sequenced from a series of classic synths that you can run CRISPR DNA resequencing on...

I doubt it. My guess it is a set upgrade price. Could be that some reseller's storewide anniversary sale or similar could pop up, like "5-10% off with this code"-kind of sale, but that would be a gamble and not that much to save on anyways.
